I've always wanted my sims to be able to skate around (not limited to the skating rink only) so I went and made this little object that will let the sims do so.

Children through elders can use this. It comes in the shape of a toy box, costs 25 simoleons and sits in Hobbies/Recreation. Now I know people don't keep their skates in a toy box nor it is a good idea to do that, but my meshing skill is practically non-existant as of yet and I can't think of a better shape for it.


You can put this thing in a community lot and make a skating park like I did. Note that I recommend taking the skates off before leaving a lot. I don't think it can cause problems if you leave them on, but in my experience they automatically revert to their skateless state anyway.
