This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

Today I bring you some outerwear recolours for kids. Surprisingly enough, Maxis did provide quite a few options when it came to outerwear. But I thought I'd add a few more.

There are six new recolours of the basic snowsuit. They all come with striped mittens. I often wished for purple and turquoise... so I made them. There are three different styles, and all can be worn by both boys and girls. All use a mesh from the Seasons EP, and therefore require it.

Then I thought my Sims could use a few more raincoats. I wanted to keep them basic, so these ones are plain and come in six colours. All colours are unisex. The raincoats require Seasons.

And, finally, I made some recolours of the girls' coat that came with the base game. I've set these as Everyday and Outerwear... I'm not sure if they'll show up in the base game (but they should... that's where the mesh is from). Only girls can wear these coats.

Thanks for these! My 'default' neighbourhood is one in which it's winter half the time, so I'm always glad to find new outerwear.

Very Pretty. A must have for my Sims!

I don't get why so many Simmers hate Marsha Bruenig. She actually grows up to be quite pretty if you allow her to.

Excellent! I was just moaning over the lack of children's clothes variety with Maxis' meshes. And I love the raincoat, but to have twenty little ladybug-clad kids running around was too much. This is great. Thank you!

Thank you for such a variety! I've never liked the girl's coat - but these recolours look really nice! I did recolour some of the raincoats in my first experiments - they are similar colours, so I'll have to see which look better (yours, I'm guessing! )

You´re damn right! Maxis really didn´t give us enough choice for kids. But now I´m glad they didn´t because yours are some much cuter than Maxis could ever have made them!

My sim kids now wear fakepeeps7 almost exclusively. The clothing store at the Town Square in Tenebrae probably is a fakepeeps franchise. I'm pondering hanging up a sign with your avatar.
