This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

This is another "deshuttered" window from the Maxis colonial group - I hope to make a bigger project of this but as I am new at this I think the rest might take a bit longer, so here is the next window.

This is handy for lots where you have a piece of wall which is only 2 tiles wide, and you want to centre the 1 tile window over the two tiles of wall - previously only the shuttered version did this, so I ripped the shutters off.

Costs 220 simoleons like the original non shutter window
Recolourable by using the Maxis set of colours
Shadows are correct

My longer term project goal is to extend the original group of windows and doors so all have shutters (or not) and have the same colour scheme so my houses will be more balanced and neat looking.

If you like this window you can see my other matching downloads at link below

2 tile colonial style window no shutters
1 tile colonial window with shutters
1 tile La Fenêtre with shutters
half size la fenêtre Window on 2 tiles

Polygon Counts:
Straight window = 1098
Diagonal window = 1098

I know it seems huge, but the Maxis original is 1485, so.....

Nice job. Thanks! I've always loved the La Fenetre windows.

I'm not sure if you've seen this set, but, it may save you some work; http://nene.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=101336

Yes, I saw this set, (which is a great set and I have been snuffling HOW this was done) but mine are/will be exact clones of the originals - and not on TSR.....

By "two-tile," do you mean in the vertical direction?

by two tile I mean that you have a window which is exactly the same size as the 1 tile wide version but occupies two tiles wide of wall space - this is handy for lots where you have a piece of wall which is only 2 tiles wide, and you want to centre the 1 tile window over the two tiles of wall - previously only the shuttered version did this, so I ripped the shutters off.

This looks extremely useful. Thank you so much. I've been wanting one-tile/two tile versions of those windows since the Base Game!
