This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

I put together a new package, a Programmer's hexa-dozen (17) new fences. Well, they're not really new shapes, or new colors, but they are new combinations of things already inside the game. It's a pretty small package size.
I have yet to look at Homecrafters program. I did this one in what is now the old fashioned way... with SimPE and finger grease.
Look at the screenshot, and if you see anything you'd like, give it a try.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file

3. Place in Downloads Folder: Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Downloads folder:
  • Origin (Ultimate Collection): Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection\Downloads\

17 Fences
I downloaded these fences two weeks ago. They are GREAT. I have not had any problems with using them in the University EP. Just thought you all would like to know.

Is there any way to make fences out of the gates? I still cannot believe that maxis made a chain link gate but not fence. (Besides the obvious method of making the entire fence out of gates to get that appearence)

Ok, I was wondering (this is a request) if you could make a fence like the one's in junky cities (lol, not helping) It's for the Ghetto I'm making, here's a picture of what I mean:
Its like a link fence...I think thats what its called.

But, tall, like as tall as the brick fencing in the game (the grey and red ones, not the short red brick fence with the big white things on the sides, you know which one I'm talking about, I think)
Or..im not sure if thats the size I want, but if you can make this do you think maybe you can make it a bit taller than the standing sim. If not then just make it as tall as the brick fence!

I have a mesh of a chainlink fence if you think you can use it. Its in a .obj file. was a freebie from a website I got a while back when I got milkshape and needed some examples on how to create things. Artist said could be freely used.

I'd be interested. Is it gray or silver? The chain link fence mesh, that is? Thanks. I know the last post is quite old, but I am very actively searching for chain link fence for TS2 ... residential type, shorter than the maxis gate, and silver/galvanized.
