Kwin House
If you like modern houses, you'll probably like Kwin House.
It's a rather big home that is quite modern (as far as the Sims 3 allows) and could be found on both sides of the Atlantic. Even though it's big, it doesn't have many rooms; the ground floor has two to be precise, which makes it very open and spacious. Something the many windows contribute to as well, without giving up privacy, as the front of the house doesn't contain many windos.
The loads of paintings and a beautiful garden with many trees and plants also help to make it a great place to live.

Rooms
As I already said, the ground floor only has a bathroom and a main living area. But the main living area is split up in several sections, with an outside part in the middle containing some bamboo plants. There is a reception area, a lounge/living room part and a kitchen/dining area. (As this is not an American house, it doesn't have any formal areas)
The kitchen features a staircase leading to the separate master-bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom in the same room (no separate space).
The main part of the upper floor (the master bedroom is separate) can be accessed via a stairwell in the reception area and features 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

- 2 Bedrooms
- 1 Bathroom (with bath etc.)
- 1 Bathroom (only toilet)
- Master bedroom (with bathroom in the same space)
- Kitchen/dining/living/creative/reception area/room

Value etc.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

A really nice house, but I am not at all fussed with those huge wall like structures, from certain directions it looks like a prison.
I'm not sure about having a toilet in the bedroom either.

with that in mind I'm undecided.

I hope you dont mind if i change it a little.

This is absolutely stunning. I particularly adore the protruding rooms from the upper level.
The angles are beautiful, and quite inspiring. I can't wait to move my sims in!
I'm actually in love with all the different sections and elements to it! Excellent job.
I hope you don't mind if I rework this a bit in game? It's just quite clear you spent a great deal of time on the rear of the structure rather than the entrance,

Neil__: I agree the toilet is a little strange. It is something that I do quite often, but normally there would be more of a division between the bedroom and bathroom. Sadly that was a bit of a problem (space/no cc).

Neil__ & strandednotlost: I agree the front of the house doesn't look too interesting. But I did that because I would like the inhabitants to have a great place where they can just do what they want without anyone noticing anything. Therefore there are just a few windows on the front.

This is such an original creation. I am looking forward to moving in. Yes. I am moving in. I am officially in denial about my own life and will purely live as a Sim for the remainder of the weekend. I need the break. Thank you!

I don't use cheats so I would have to make my sim work at least three hundred simdays to in the top of her field to earn this gorgeous place. :} Thanks so much...

Well, I did it in less (I made this with a family in it) But she is a very good painter...

BY the way, I don't mind it if anyone changes it... It's what I do with my downloads and it's fun!

Are the large paintings you used found in the base game? If not, did you make them? They're great! I don't remember seeing any superhuge paintings in buy mode.

Beautiful house!

@HeyBubbe: They are paintings that were made by my Sim. (I believe every Sim paints different by the way, at least I've had pictures twice, but with different effects).
@groovey_kat: As I just said the paintings are painted by my Sim, including the dragon picture.

Beautiful house but the paintings show only large ? with a rainbow of colors in the background if I load it for the second time. The first time the paintings are just correctly but now I have to move my sims to another house, destroy your house and then place it again for the paintings to work. It isn't much work but it does becomes a bit annoying after some time.

You should get angry with EA for that... There's no custom content or hacks in there whatsoever.
