Hey everyone! So basically I decided that I wanted wayyyy higher heels in my Sims game so I decided I would make a set of platform heels for simmers more sexy sims! They work for female sims, Young Adults-Elders. These are my first creations I’ve made for the Sims 3 and I liked how they came out so I really wanted to share them with my fellow simmers. So I hope you all enjoy!
Some Pictures and Color ideas:
Peep Toe Platform Heels
Round Platform Heels

*Note* Front part of heel is always dark because it uses the same texture of what it was cloned from which is also dark.
Strap Platform Heels

*Note* There seems to be a small texture issue where the texture meets up but it’s only visible with bright colors in CAS
I hope you all enjoy these as much as I do because It’s about time our female sims have some REAL high heels XD. In the future I might also make a set without the platform for those more casual days xD.
Terms of Use:
I don’t mind if you upload these with your sims or redistribute the package, or create your own textures using my meshes. Try to give credit if you use them in your creations but I won’t hold it against you xD. The only thing that I please ask is to not modify the actual mesh and claim it as your own or take credit for making it.

3 Platform Heels.rar
Size: 141.9 KB · Downloads: 82,855 · 9th Aug 2009 |
Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
