This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Whew, took me long enough to release this.
It seems that japanese cars aren't popular around here, but I don't really care.. I make what I like, and this is my favorite car since ~3 years ago.
It's the best looking Honda Accord from all generations (even better than the 2005-2008 version IMO), yet I still can't get my hands on the real thing!!
Oh well, at least now my simself can drive it.. ^^

CAST parts: body, hood & rims

it's better if you don't recolor the rims, just paint it white. It's low poly (actually it's taken from the original Yomoshoto Evasion) and I can't apply bump/normal maps on that thing yet because it has different UV..

Level of details :

Object Cloned from : CarSedan (Yomoshoto Evasion)
Buy mode category : Vehicles
In-game Name : 2003 Accord Euro
Price : § 9,900
Speed : 5

That's all, hope you enjoy the car..

Polygon Counts:
main mlod/modl : 8166 vertices / 6460 faces

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Thanks for your hard work! Looks really good, and it's nice to have some low-priced options that don't look like the Old Lemon, or whatever it's called in game. :P

And seconding that a Mustang would be sweet!

I believed it was FP's work until i reed the filename. Nice to see some new face in car-modding.

Nice work, anyway. Will look nice in those middle-class parking pools. XD

Winning the Game
Don't be absurd. This is an EA game! What's to win? You have already lost 50 bucks when you bought a game that contains even less than TS2 base game, and you're gonna spend ten times more if you want to get all the features that you enjoyed in TS2!

I really appreciate you for making a non-ritzy car. I mean, Fresh Prince's cars are pretty darn amazing, but I just don't like the models he makes. I like normal looking pretty cars.
I will definitely be looking for more cars from you!

Thanks so much!

What do you mean Japanese cars are not popular around here? Just because nobody made them available does not mean we don't want. I do like what Fresh Prince has to offer, but seriously ...

We are all looking forward to see the new Skyline R35 (the one that beats most European and American cars that have 100hp more than R35 itself). And S2000, 350z, a few Lexus models, NSX, RX8, G37, Evo, etc... All those are great cars that we never see in Sims 2. (Actually they became available when I stopped playing TS2).

Also don't forget Smart car, Honda Fit, Scion and Mini.

You see, not everything is about Mustang. And don't we already have an old school Mustang with TS3 release already?

Keep up the good work.

I spent a few long minutes to figure out what version this Honda Accord is. After long, my brother pointed out: it is Acura TSX type R. This is what it is called in America.

For those who don't know, Honda (along with most Japanese makers in US) separate into 2 brands for marketing reason. Honda has Acura's luxury line. Toyota has Lexus, and Scion as budget/mini car brand. Nissan has Infinity. Mitsubishi, not sure what they have.

Anyway I work next to an import tuner shop so I get to see all kind of interesting cars everyday.

Thanks, I like seeing a more normal car posted. Cars like this Accord are what I really want in my game. As for the "Japanese cars not wanted", I don't care where it originates, I just like seeing everyday cars in here rather than the Veyrons and other high end stuff. Accord, Civic, Maxima, Celica, Corolla, Integra, and RX7's are the Japanese stuff I'd like to see, and so this car fits in. Thank you much for this.

Wooo. Nice cheap cars!

I vote:
Toyota Echo - sedan

Thanks so much for this! :D

This is so odd , I put it in the package folder as I did with all other mods. But somehow it does not show up in Buy Mode, so odd.

I double and tripple checked, no luck. What is wrong?

Update: Must be the installation of Awesome mod that messed it up. But now it looks ok, I have the car.

I'm planning to make more normal cars that I get to see everyday. Though what I'm seeing might differ from yours..

@Tomomi1922 : try clearing your cache from 'My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3' folder.
