This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
As you may have noticed by now, I am fascinated by death. But show me a living mortal who doesn't, and I'll show you a liar.

Anyway, I have now opened the possibility to wear the robes of death itself. How you say? I'll never tell, but let's just say I kinda owe a certain immortal being a favor. But let's just overlook that, yes?

Moving on, there were some modifications in order to be able to wear them, but they were taken care of.

As you can probably tell from the picture, the hood is much larger than that of The Reaper that comes to your door whenever anyone kicks it. This is because Sim heads are a bit larger than that of Death. Why? I will never know.

Also, the robe itself can be recolored. That way, you can sport different colors, unlike Dr. Killy McGee. Black robes, black hood... That's refreshing.

In conclusion, I kinda forgot what I was talking about, so here's the Robe of Death anyway. I hope you enjoy it.

I just hope he doesn't know this is here... He may just try to take them back...

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

This is pretty cool. Now I can have Emperor Palpatine.

Thanks, pure genius. I had attempted a mod of the death robe, but got the weird head thing and gave up. Can I use yours as a template to make my mod? I'll give you all the credits you deserve. So did you just make the hood area bigger?

That's just friggin' cool.

I'll download as soon as i'll get back my laptop.

Winning the Game
Don't be absurd. This is an EA game! What's to win? You have already lost 50 bucks when you bought a game that contains even less than TS2 base game, and you're gonna spend ten times more if you want to get all the features that you enjoyed in TS2!

This is great, thank you! I had unlocked this myself but was stumped by the low placement of the head!

PS thank you for the 'Better Trench Coat' for TS2 - I used it for all my trenchcoated sims!

i have a custom pre-made Grim. As far as I remember, the creator said he exported him from the EA Grim, so he looks exactly the same as the original Grim. The only thing that annoys me is: he's just a normal sim with an extraordinay head-shape and wears the robes. He doesn't speak like the original Grim (like moaning), he speaks Simlish.

I have a feeling that this sims 3 version of grim reaper's robe is kinda sexy looking, somehow very alluring and mystique (like a woman, Arabian night kind of thing), don't know. Anyway, great job, love it!!
