HARRISON FORD

Date of Birth
13 July 1942, Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nickname
Harry

Height
6' 1" (1.85 m)

Mini Biography
His father was Irish, his mother Russian-Jewish. He was a lackluster student at Maine Township High School East in Park Ridge Illinois (no athletic star, never above a C average). After dropping out of Ripon College in Wisconsin, where he did some acting and later summer stock, he signed a Hollywood contract with Columbia and later Universal. His roles in movies and TV ("Ironside" (1967), "The Virginian" (1962)) remained secondary and, discouraged, he turned to a career in professional carpentry. He came back big four years later, however, as Bob Falfa in American Graffiti (1973). Four years after that he hit colossal with the role of Han Solo in Star Wars (1977). Another four years and Ford was Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).

Four years later and he received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for his role as John Book in Witness (1985). All he managed four years after that was his third starring success as Indiana Jones; in fact, many of his earlier successful roles led to sequels as did his more recent portrayal of Jack Ryan in Patriot Games (1992). Another Golden Globe nomination came his way for the part of Dr. Richard Kimble in The Fugitive (1993). He is clearly a well-established Hollywood superstar. He also maintains an 800-acre ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

INDIANA JONES

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Indiana jones)

This article is about the fictional character. For the media franchise, see Indiana Jones (franchise).

Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones, Jr.[1] is a fictional adventurer, OSS agent, professor of archaeology, and the protagonist of the Indiana Jones franchise. George Lucas created the character in homage to the action heroes of 1930s film serials. The character first appeared in the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark, to be followed by Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984, The Last Crusade in 1989, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles from 1992 to 1996, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008. Alongside the more widely known films and television programs, novels, comics, video games, and other media also feature the character. Jones is also featured in the theme park attraction Indiana Jones Adventure, which exists in similar forms at Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

Jones is most famously played by Harrison Ford and has also been portrayed by River Phoenix (as the young Jones in The Last Crusade), and in the television series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles by Corey Carrier, Sean Patrick Flanery, and George Hall. Doug Lee has supplied Jones's voice to two LucasArts video games, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, while David Esch supplied his voice to Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb.

Particularly notable facets of the character include his iconic look (bullwhip, fedora, and leather jacket), sense of humor, deep knowledge of many ancient civilizations and languages, and fear of snakes.

In 2008, Indiana Jones was ranked as the 6th greatest movie character of all time by Empire magazine. Since his first appearence in Raiders of the Lost Ark, he has become a worldwide star. In 2009, he stands as #2 on Time greatest fictional characters of all time, surpassed only by Sherlock Holmes.

Notes:

I only used World Aventures Expansion pack for the outfit on Version #2. Indiana Jones... so if you don't have the EP, I'm sure it will work fine on both versions without it... you'll just have dress him in the base game clothing.

Also, I didn't dress Indy in the everyday outfit with the leather jacket, but took pics so you could see what he would look like in that outfit also. I think he looks great in both.

Happy Simming!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Yay, two versions! LOL--and I left you a post on Creator Feedback saying I still want #49 for Han Solo! Oh my gosh you did a marvelous job every step of the way. The thing is, he looks different himself through his career and really so many of your work-in-process versions really did look just like him at some point or another. It was tough to get a consensus on a favorite but you got two excellent finalists--one a bit younger Indie, one a bit older, both drop dead handsome! Reading that thread and watching the progression made me smile and reminded me of everything I used to love (and hate) about celebrity sim creation. But watching the progression was always exciting.

Congratulations.

Darn, though, I don't have Awesome Mod and my other mod that allows the slider extension isn't updated to work yet with the latest patch. I'm going over to check out Awesome mod. It may be time to think about getting that since so many Sims that I adore on this site require it for the facial sculpt to stay in place. Even though I don't plan to edit your work, I found before that if I don't have AM, the faces don't always hold up in game. Claeric's Addelai sim did, but some female sims I downloaded didn't. I'm so puzzled by that.

I can't believe you sculpted Harrison Ford so excellently in Sims 3. He is anyting but a "pudding face." I'm not a creator so I can't imagine how you got not only his features but the "roughness" or manliness of his face so accurately. You did a wonderful job on a face that seems very difficult to recreate! I never imagined having him in my game, but with WA, now I think I NEED him!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments!
Thank you mods!
...and a huge THANK YOU to all of you in the Creators Feedback Forum that helped create him! It was some of you that were the inspiration for the character "Indiana Jones" and inspired me to buy the WA EP... You all got me excited about helping him get into the character as much as possible, enough to buy the EP earlier than I had expected too... thank you!

Great work J. You work so unbelievably hard to get your sims just perfect. Kudos.

I feel honoured, a Spanish magazine wants to feature my Desperate Housewives and Will Smith in their feature on celebrity sims.
