This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

I've brought back my infamous LG washer and dryer machines from the sims 2! I hope you all enjoy them!

They are two, decorative, separate objects. They cost $250 each, can be found in Decor\Misc. , and have 2 recolorable parts, the main color paint, and then the back, which is just vents. All comments welcomed!

Comes with 7 default colors:

Polygon Counts:
Washer
Faces: 236 , Vertices: 336
Dryer
Faces: 237 , Vertices: 404

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I've seen other washer/dryer sets, and downloaded them...much to my disappointment they didn't look that good in the game...yours on the other hand are awesome...as usual you do such great work! (Still hoping for a Chevrolet HHR)... Thank you

I hate to say this after all the work you put into this, but it has been confirmed that Ambitions will create functional laundry. Had you held out creating this until it was out, you might have been able to make a functional one.

Until it does release, all we have are sets from creators like FP, and these make a lovely addition to my homes. Thanks again, FP!

Thank you so much for these! I got Sandy's laundry room set from ATS3, but I really loved your set from Sims 2. Sooooo happy you converted them!

I've often wondered if the Sims community has always been so interested in doing laundry in all three games, why the developers have never implemented it before now.

Great job! Thank you so much for these! I love to give my homes a realistic, if purely decorative, laundry room. EA gave us the clothesline, now there is something to make one "necessary". Actually, there was a set earlier, but the Dashboard utility took exception to it and several other downloaded objects (including some of your lovely automobiles) during my blue lot period late last year. And a burnt out hard drive made it necessary to start over with downloaded objects anyway...So, thanks again for this and all your other lovely creations, that make playing so much more fun!
