This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

The overall shapes need a little work, but good effort. You're on the right track.

The Explorer looks pretty good.
The Flying V looks great, except that it has the wrong style headstock.
The upper wings on the SG need some cleaning up.
The double-neck looks pretty satisfactory.
The Strat probably looks the best out of the bunch. The body is a little disproportionate to the neck, which makes it look like a Jr. Strat, but that's fine.
The Ibanez looks near perfect.
The Warlock looks okay. The bottom left wing looks like it's been melted.
The Tele looks the same...melted. Clean up the pickguard and smooth out the contours and it should look great.

Again, great effort! Please don't take these suggestions the wrong way. Just trying to help.

theres already a flying v guitar earlier, but i saw this has much more choices. yay! unfortunately, i read some of the comments that it needs working. i hope you dont take them the wrong way, its just that people care about your objects to actually try them out in game and not just say "wow, its nice" without really trying them in game or even downloading. i hope you would make these guitars rock even more.

I know the guitars are not perfect, in fact attempt not to make things perfect.
I have made low-poly guitars that facilitates its use in the game (avoiding that is congealed) and that all those that download them can use them without problems.

Shame you didn't spend the extra time fixing the shadows. Could have sworn that was a requirement for getting your upload approved. Other people have had issues with shadows with their objects and get rejected, but whatever.

I'm just happy to have options! It sucks so bad that bass has to be upright classical. I'd kill for some bass guitars. Thanks for the instruments!
