This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
As requested in my oldfashioned-radio thread, here is an oldfashioned tv-set resembling an actual one from the 1950s. Comes complete with english and german catalog-files and was generated using SimPE 0.15 using the fix integrity plugin.
The design (and some of the used textures) is based on the oldfashioned radio, so they should match with each other.

After some experimenting I fiddeled out how to get the animations on the screen. :o)

More oldfashioned objects are in work... :tophat:

EDIT: Object updated. It now contains only two meshes, the teevee and the screen, so CEP-recolor should be possible. Thanks to Numenor for the hint.

EDIT 061705: LyricLee requested to make this recolorable and I did so. Furthermore I reworked the mesh and lowered the poly- and vertextcount by about half. I also included a recolor.

You should redownload this object!

I love the old-fashioned radio, and now there's a t.v! Terrific! I can't wait to see what else you make.
Btw, is it possible to make the images on the screen black and white?

As mentioned in the 13" TV thread, the video onscreen has to use the same AVI files as the rest of the TVs. Unless there's some way to use a shader to desaturate a texture, it's gonna be color.
