Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
The sliding house is so named because all the living spaces are contained within a wooden box, which appears to slide between 5 stone clad supports. It is modern and unique, with an open, studio style plan, floor to ceiling windows, and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The backyard includes a long swimming pool, and a fountain slips under the house between two supports and appears in the front yard. The backyard patio is perfect for evening barbeques and for watching the a brilliant sunset over the ocean. This house is perfectly suited for one or two sims who want to live a life of upscale comfort in a modern setting.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

This is gorgeous. I love a nice modern design, and this manages to be ultra-modern without being boxy. Great work!

Both sets from Simply Styling are under the "Objects" category. The tub and sink are from the only bathroom set on the site. The extras, like the toilet paper, toothbrush, etc. are under the "Deco/Misc" section.

Hope you find it

Sorry, I don't remember what Simpossible's policy is for uploading their creations, so I'm probably not going to upload it here. I think the only thing from that set is the couch though, so the lot won't be missing much if you play it without.

Is it possible to play this house without the custom content or are they all required? Sorry..might seem like a stupid question.

Most of the furniture inside is custom content, but if you don't mind doing a little bit of refurnishing, you can certainly put it into your game and it will look pretty much the same on the outside. The only bit of "build" CC I used was the front door which can very easily be replaced by one of the EA ones.

When I zoomed into the house, it crashed my game.
