Hooray for even more wacky pool ConstrainFloorElevation experiments! :B

I was originally going to do a non-swimmable waterfall using the water tool, but I didn't like that bit of terrain it left at the top of the fall so I did this instead. It looks nicer AND it's swimmable! Your sims can even swim "through" the lilypads. :P

I don't even know how long I spent working on this. Too long, probably. At one point I completely redid the interior of the house, and at another the game decided to delete all my water plants when I went to edit the pool a bit. >_> I've tested this house and everything works - the stairs leading up to the house work fine, and both the big and little waterfalls are fully swimmable. All furniture is usable and I haven't had any trouble with traffic jams anywhere.

The only real problem with it is that not all the plants are accessible. You'll need to download the Perfect Plants & Perfect Gardens hack by TwoJeffs to keep the shrubs from overgrowing, weeds from taking over and the flowers from dying: http://www.simbology.com/smf/index.php?topic=13.0 A small price to pay for an awesome garden, IMO. Trimming shrubs and watering flowers was annoying anyway.

Enjoy!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Anyone who creates waterfall lots (especially with pools and such) is worthy of praise. The overall lot design is quite unique and I shall thoroughly enjoy romping around on the lot as a distraction to all things medieval. Thank you for this wonderful creation.

What creativity! So you used the pool tool for all of the water? I'd love to know how you did it! I've read tutorials and haven't been able to do anything close to this! I'm really impressed! Also, that picture behind the paino with the curtain looks so great, like a view from a window. Great job!

I don't normally download large lots, but I must have this wonder in my game. Thank you for sharing!

How do you get the water to be reflective? I'm on HD and everything but it won't reflect!!

This lot is lovely and well-made. And I applaud you for having the patience to create waterfalls! (Seriously, cfe and all that clicking and counting just... ugh... Well, it drives me mad).

Just a comment, but this house reminds me of Carl and Ellie's dream home from the Pixar movie "Up". She would be so proud.

I'm not sure, the reflections work on my game. o_0 Is it just this lot giving you issues with reflections or all lots with pools?

Hehe, I actually thought about that movie while building this...it wasn't the original inspiration for this house, though. XD

I dare imagine it has taken you some time to create this lot. Hey, I added you as favourite because for some reason I don't see your lots mentioned in the appropriate categories, even though I have no filter options set on.

When I installed it and placed it on my test hood (luckily, it's a test hood), I found a glitchy interaction of DEBUG: Super Duper Hug. Well, that thing really crept me out, especially after recalling the topic about that. How could that happen? I don't think you will ever respond or even find out this feedback though, but I'm just sayin' this lot is unsafe.

Gosh, this is beautiful
But sadly I'm not into that old cottage style.
And btw: I don't have University.
But really, great house! Especially the waterfall, but a little question:
Is the pond (not the waterfall) swimable, if it is: how did you do it?
