This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Showtime added some great clothing for both men and women.. but when I came across this clothing mesh, it nearly made me crawl out of my own skin in horror. Such a nice shirt and yet they added that horrible chain on it to make you angry! And I really wanted this shirt to be plain.. So, now it can be! Nothing has been changed on this shirt except for the ridiculous pimp chain..thing.

Update 8/10/12:
default replacement version has been removed while I figure out how to fix the issue with it.

Available for both Young Adult to Adult (just like the original)

This mesh requires Showtime! This shirt was included in the expansion.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

This is a blessing if I ever did see one. Gah I hated that stupid chain! It looked like it was poorly painted on and I avoided the shirt just because of it. Now I won't have to, and it's all thanks to you ^.^

Would you consider making this a default replacement? I hate seeing my townies popping up with that damned chain >_<

I'm definitely considering that. Though, last time I tried, CTU messed the mesh up. :/

This is great, and I'll almost certainly download it, but I'm suprised I'm the first person to say that those are beads. Like, wood-effect beads. I think. I can't see it as a chain. :x

Yeah, looks like a wooden-bead necklace to me as well. But either way, thank you! I've been collecting necklace-free versions of Showtime clothes and I think this is the last one I needed, yay! I don't know why EA has such a love affair with painted on necklaces.

Thank you so much for getting rid of the tacky beads. The shirt looks so much better without them.

Thanks this mod is great.

I have a question: what body hair are you using? Is from EA? What video card do you have?
In my pc (with a gtx 460) body hair don't look as good as in your game. In the CAS it looks OK but in live mode it don't.
Look at the legs of the sim on the first image, and the arms of the sim on the second one.

The adult sim here has the "most hairy" setting (except in chest):

The young adult sim here have the "less hairy" setting.

I'm using the hair that came with the generations expansion..nothing custom. You might have to turn your graphics settings on high

Just a heads up: when I extracted your package file from the rar archive, I noticed it was 28.4 MB, which is pretty large. I compressorized it and it's now a more reasonable 3.75 MB. You might want to think about using the Recompressor on your uploaded file to bring down the file size, as some users don't use it or don't merge their packages (which also shrinks file sizes).

The game is maxed out All the graphic settings are on their maximum value. It's weird. This issue happend to me with a Nvidia GT 9400 too. Is like the quality of the textures in live mode isn't the same than the CAS ones.

What video card do you have? Maybe is a conflict with nvidia cards...Some players have the same issue. I need that info because I saw that the textures look ok in the live mode of your game so now I don't know what to think...

Sorry about nitpicking but doesn't this top also come with beads around the wrists? From your pictures it seems that you just removed the textures from those but left the meshes intact, giving the Sim's wrist some rather unhealthy looking bone disease. I find this a bit odd and makes it look slightly unfinished.

Thanks for the default replacement! But it's a .caspart file and not a .package file. Is this on purpose?

Killc*a, Sorry about that. I have removed the file though due to some issues, and I will put it back up once they're fixed. The new mesh file is still available, but will not automatically replace the EA mesh.

I love that you removed the garbage from this top, but where the bracelet was, it has a mesh of a glove cuff, I'm not sure if you know about this, and can it be fixed, it is visible in your picture.

Thanks,
-Rich
