This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Made by chasmchronicle for those moments that your sim just wants to.. break it loose

Have you ever just wanted to break free? (totally not a Queen reference.. nope) Ever just wanting to shake that thaaang? What about entertaining that special someone...or stranger..? Then this fun, exotic, frightening? pole is the one thing you need!

This is a decoration and is for pole dancing poses/animations. It does not have it's own interactions! This is meant for the Pole Position poses as a set.

Toss some cash! Throw some fruit!

For those romantic bedroom occasions

Hell.. why not even in the living room! Ultimate source of entertainment.. who needs TV anyway?

Recolorable Channels:

  • Ends of Pole

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Man, this plus your poses plus some custom scripting would make my year. I'd love my sims to be able to pole dance for tips or just gain athletic skill in this way!

SeeMyu, That picture with the pole where the TV should be nearly made me snarf my coffee! And I love the little bedroom Pole Shrine, haha.

But I've just got to know, can my sim gain + cooking from watching that pole?

I downloaded the pose pack first, thinking a column from build mode that was really skinny would work, but I then saw the Exotic Pole as promised here. Everyone is asking for animations or a pole dancing mod, and although that would be nice, don't rush our creators. Be thankful for what we've got now, and perhaps animations and mods will come around, okay?

I'm shocked there isn't already a fully integrated stripping mod; perhaps it would be wise to toss up a post in the forums to gather together anyone who's currently working on one and collaborate on one super-awesome project?

How about you stop and show appreciation for what's already been done?

It's very disheartening for a creator(s) to have spent so much time and effort on making content for the community only for every other comment to be "well when are you going to make this?!" or "why didn't you guys make that?!"

To all those who actually said thanks, we are very grateful for your praise.

"Holy Shift! Check out the asymptotes on that mother function!"

This is fantastic, and shows just how amazing the creators of the community are! I'm so impressed by the whole thing! AMAZING. Good job. =)

And to the people asking for animations and more more more.. be happy with what you've got. If you want something so bad... why not do it yourself, or try to collaborate on your own? I'm not NEARLY talented enough to make something like this.. but I would never tell someone they should do it for me just 'cause I want it. C'm'on people.. show a little respect for these amazing people, yeah?
