Of course I couldn’t forget the pups! They needed some desparate help with those horrifying black dots! It also stunned me that EA hadn't mapped puppy eyes to be two toned, so I fixed that as well!

There is one variation of these eyes. It is called Fetching, and it is a pretty standard dog eye. There is a fair amount of detail in them. There is a second option, if you just want to fix your dogs black dots, but want to keep the EA eyes, then you will want the Dog Eye Fix.

YOU MAY ONLY HAVE ONE VARIATION IN YOUR GAME AT A TIME!!!

Just place one of the two choices in your packages folder. I would suggest NOT merging these because there may be updates etc.

All variations work with two tone eyes and the regular 4 channel eyes. They are for puppy-elder dogs.

Place any of these three files in your packages folder. These will conflict with other mods that change dog eye meshes, dog eye textures, and dog overlays.

Remember to clear your sim compositor cache to see the changes! Enjoy!!

If you use my eyes as a base, please just give me a quick little credit or link! Thank you!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

They look so much better than the originals! And these black dots were very annoying, too. Thank you so much! You made my dogs cuter and cooler at the same time!

*dies from cuteness overload*

These eyes are perfect! I despised EA's eyes with a passion and I was hoping somebody would fix the black dots. Not only did you do that, you made the eyes completely different and 100x times cuter! Thank you!

I think this is going to be my first default replacement ever for my game - those eyes are making me melt (but then, I'm a sucker for puppy eyes. Probably why we have four dogs in real life)

This and the cat ones are so nice and natural looking
I didn't even realize how messed up they were.

Are you planning on fixing the horses too? They seem a bit "blobbed" on.

I didn't even notice the black dot until I saw this fix! LoL Now I need it!

Does it fix the horses eyes too? I know they have the black dot too. I don't know about the cats, but probably

No this is dogs only, I do have a set for cats, but not for horses as of yet.

This mod was causing a problem in CAS. The eye overlay seems to have covered the whole animal instead of just the eyes. Example: When I go to select a breed, and choose a dog breed that has alot of "layers" like one with many colors and patches, the whole animal is black despite whatever color is chosen. Then the eyes are whited out it looks fiendish and crazy. I had to take this mod out. Has anyone else experienced this? I was running on patch 1.34 when that happened.

I made these on 1.34 so I don't think that has anything to do with it. I honestly have no idea how or why it would be doing that. There is no reason for it to do that. The only thing I could say is clear your caches and try it again, if it is still doing that then come back here and let me know. But in all honesty I have never heard of this problem or have any idea as to why it would happen.

I had both the cat and dog eyes installed. I also had a default eye replacement for humans made by Aikea Guinea (Edit: Escand's Eyes not Aikea Guinea). Could that be the problem? Though I wouldnt think animals eyes conflict with human ones but who knows..

No, they are completely different files, so there should be no conflicts. I would say just try again, there's really nothing that would be effecting the files that are associated with these.
