Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
I wanted to make a larger home with plenty of garage and bedroom space which I think I accomplished with this home. This home has 4 bedrooms that are fairly large, as well as 4 bathrooms. There is enough space for up to 8 Sims. The garage can hold up to 4 cars if you need to squeeze them in, and 2 additional in the driveway. There is a double closet on the second floor that could also be turned into a bathroom.
*This home is CC free and only requires the base game to play.*
I'm sure you notice that 3 of the bedrooms are empty, I only colored them but wanted to leave them open for people to furnish themselves as I personally like to make bedrooms unique for each of my Sims.

Lot Size:25 x 35
Lot Price Furnished:125,150
Lot Price Unfurnished:78,848

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who forgets the bathroom!

But has anyone else forgotten to put a roof on in TS2? I did in almost every house I build myself.

This is perfect! Props for connecting the walls of the garage to the walls of the house, it's harder than it looks isn't it? Dx

Not really, honestly if you find the right tutorial and do it a few times it becomes really easy.
This video tutorial was really easy to follow and can be applied to any type of home:

Where do I find this in-game? This is my first time downloading CC, so I'm not that sure what to do (I already downloaded it).

Enter "Edit Town" click on the house symbol next to the one with Sim Families. Scroll over through the houses you should find it, as I did label it.

Thanks so much I will definitely be using this but I was wondering if you knew where it would be best placed in Starlight Shores? That's where my family is living and I'm going to move them into this house but I'm not sure where I should put it.

I would put it kind of away from the other houses: there should be more of seclusive an corner in the world. Only because it doesn't really fit into that world's theme.

This house is amazing It's really a big plus that you didn't use CC and only used the base game. Thank you so much for building this house, I really love it.
Keep up the good work.
