Number 12, Grimmauld Place [no cc]

A little peeling black paint never hurt nobody, right? On either side of Number 12, the once grand town houses have been converted into decaying, cheap walk up flats and offices for muggles. (No doors are marked NPC, but they do include hidden room markers, and public room markers.)

Grimmauld Place is my favourite location in the Harry Potter novels; so I've decided to recreate in the Sims. This version was inspired by the descriptions of the decaying georgian townhouse in the novels and my imagination, with no real dedication paid to recreating the film version.

Street access, servants kitchen and eating area (famously taken over by members of the Order of the Phoenix), cloak room, pantry, storage.

Ground floor:
Parlor, dining room.

1st floor:
Drawing room (complete with family tree tapestry, doxy laden drapes, and a nasty writing desk), a bedroom (Hermione & Ginny's), a bathroom.

2nd floor:
2 bedrooms (including Harry & Ron's... don't listen to the portrait), a study, a bathroom.

3rd floor:
Master bedroom, ensuite, bathroom, nursery bedroom.

4th floor:
Sirius' bedroom (decked in Gryffindor colours and posters of muggles permanent-sticking-charmed to the walls), Regulus' bedroom (decked in Slytherin colours), shared half bathroom.

Empty. (Not really a 'room', it uses fences for walls.)

The home has been completely playtested (my current legacy family lives here); perhaps some mirrors will be inaccessible as some are placed decoratively, I can not recommend lighting the fires without first making them fireproof, or installing a suitable mod - they inhabit very cluttered areas.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

My addiction with Harry Potter just grew. This building (with it's complex structure) has now been recreated with style and technique.
