Dear Reader,

If you are interested in sims who lead happy and pleasant lives, then you would be better off downloading some other creation. I am sorry to say that that the sim you are viewing currently, although charming and clever, is one marred by misfortune of the most treacherous variety.

Violet Baudelaire, the eldest of the three Baudelaire children, was perhaps the finest fourteen year old inventor in the world; ever resourceful and always preoccupied with thoughts of widgets, doodads and peculiar devices. Anyone who knew Violet well, could tell she was thinking hard when her long hair was tied up in a ribbon to keep it out of her eyes. With her brain churning and bursting with images of pulleys, levers and gears, she could not bother to be distracted by something as trivial as her hair.

At this point, I must duly advise you to stop reading, because this is about as happy as things are ever going to get. If you are not partial to terrible news, arson, greedy and repulsive villains, itchy clothing, dastardly plots and cold porridge, then I suggest you close your web browser, delete your internet history and forget the existence of this download altogether. If you can bear it however, I invite you to stay.

Without further ado, I present Violet Baudelaire, the first of several characters from the world of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.

This sim is custom slider free!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

The question of whether I am, in fact, Lemony Snicket, begs the counter-question of whether or not you are truly mustang34. Due to the dangerous nature of Mr. Snicket's work, I cannot divulge to you the nature of my association with him. (BS aside, I have met him in person, but I am not actually him )

I can't believe I just realized this now - I forgot to add her formal wear to the description. It is the Gothic Victorian Winter Coat by Sylvanes, and can be found here:
Sorry for any inconvenience!

This looks seriously cool. I love A Series of Unfortunate Events, it's one of my favorite series ever. She looks amazing, pretty much exactly as I pictured her. When I first saw this, I was worried that you'd forget she was only 14 years old and maybe think she was 16 or something, and give her... ample breasts. I was so delighted to see she was proportionate! (sounds a bit weird, but I have read many story-based legacies and the 14 year olds always have ginormous boobs and perfect faces. She looks realistic, but still pretty. I love it! AGHHH!) I am so excited to see future work from you, hopefully the other Baudelaire's!! Maybe even the mansion someday!

I do have one tiny problem with this, though. It says that it needs Supernatural, but I don't see any Supernatural in her. Is it something I don't see, and if it is, can you make it compatible with base game? If you did, I would download this on the spot. As is, however, I don't own Supernatural, so I am literally incompatible to download her. Lovely work though!

Londonite04, thank you so much! When I set out to create her, I definitely wanted to keep her age and maturity in mind. Her boots are from Supernatural, and all of the screenshots were taken in Midnight Hollow. If you can live without the boots, then she will run with the base game just fine.

Ah, I love Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events! Well, I liked the movie; never read the books. I should though. Anyway, this amazing!

I love the description of your sim. I've read the books, and while reading this, I thought I was reading them all over again. Very well written, and the sim is well designed. I'm looking forward to your adaptation of the other characters.

Beautiful! Quick question, perhaps it says and I missed it in the thread, but are her clothes/skin/ other CC included or do we need to get them separately? Thanks!

Chaos Aroura, the CC listed in the description is not included with the download - it's meant as a sort of 'shopping list' in order to get her to appear properly in game.
