Kids sleeping 12 hours a day thanks to the Sleep All Night mod? Is taking an Energizing shower before school starts just asking for too much? Too disinterested in your kids to complete their goals, but not enough to allow the Social Worker to come and take them off your hands? You could do what I do and use the Household Manager to move those creepy little creatures into a neighbor's house so they can raise them like a Changeling. But if you insist they stay home then this mod may be for you.

This is another simple XML tuning mod (aren't they all?) that removes the need to complete Goals for grade advancement at School. The Goals will no longer display and they are no longer required for higher grades. The only thing that will affect your students grade is their work performance, just like Sims 2...I think, I can't remember.

This mod changes the following XML and DATA resources and will conflict with other mods that also change these resources:

This mod was built using Game Version 1.0.797.20, it should be compatible with all versions.

Updated 2014/10/22, The Goals should now be removed from the UI.
Checked 2014/12/18, Compatible with patch 1.3.18.1010.

Thank you! The Sims 2, they just had to go to school and do their homework. This was driving me nuts. I have one kid in my game right now and he can't get above the C. It's always a push to get the homework done because of trying to up the skill goals. I have him using that chemistry set all the time and playing chess a little bit. He has to eat at some point, he goes to sleep late, never gets enough sleep, let alone an energizing shower in the morning, since I have him shower at night, afraid he would never make it to school if he had to shower in the morning.

This is great. It fits in with my style of play because I like to let kids be kids, not skilling machines.
They should have fun when they're young. I'm hoping for a no goals needed for work mod soon. My
poor sims barely have time to fill their motives let alone do chores for work.

Why do kids need skill points to get good grade in school? It has been very annoying.
Thank you so much for making and sharing this mod.
My family-oriented-dad sim will now be pleased to finally see his girl get A!

OK, I already named my Gen 2 Heiress Shimrod, but I will most certainly name my Gen 3 one RuebenHood. While Pinstar may frown on adding this mod, I'm totally doing it!!!!

Holy crap, yes! At first I obligingly struggled to fulfill the school goals but eventually I was so fed up with them that I wanted to just age everybody up, but now I can just say "screw it" and enjoy my little simulated children :)
