55 Gallon Fish Aquarium With new fish...
Designed by LLedford

This object is EP ready and should work in the college area. It will also work for the original Sims 2. Though I have tested it in both areas, I would like to know if anyone has any problems with it working properly in the college area.

It was made with SimPE .33 and to my knowledge is fully functioning correctly. Any feedback or problems found will be greatly appreciated.

You may re-color this object, but please post it here in the new mesh re-colors area so that I too can download a new color and give proper credit for my hard work. Please do not clone this object and claim it as your own or post this object on other websites.

Unzip the files to your downloads folder and you will find it under Decorations with the rest of the miscelleanous decorations.

A Special Thank you to all the makers of SimPE for all of your hard work making this wonderful program, Thank you to Miche and Delphy for the MTS2 Mesh tool, and thank you Wes_H and BobL for all of the help with the UV mapping. Thank you both for your patience and wonderful explanations on how UV Mapping works. Thank you to all the testers and MTS2...

Thank you and Happy Simming...

Please post responce on how this object works for you and if you have any problems with it, or if you just like it or hate it... I can take the truth... lol
Feel free to Rate this object too...

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

I was planning on doing something like this myself...great work, any advice on changing the Fish? I'm a pretty good Modler but wouldn't know where to begin in terms of adding new fish within the object.

darkstar1978, I will try a longer one soon, this takes up two squares, I can try for three, if I can figure out how to change the tiles within SimPe.

vecarnex, when you do the fish you have to use a transparent background, I use Paint Shop Pro, because in the save options you can choose to keep the background transparent with the optimize option, then I used picture tubes to place the fish in, and grass for the seaweed, I hope this helps, let me know if you need any help with your project.

Thank you all Testers...

I've had 55 gallon aquariums before. They are a lot of fun. Still I didn't think anyone would make one for the game. I find that fantastic! It looks great.

I'll probably move the camera in for a closeup and use it like I do the real ones. Just set and watch the fish.

Great work!

This looks great. I'd agree with the latter a long one would be excellent. A built in look with nice crown molding. ;-)
