Now they go to Enki´s No-kill Children´s Home :-)
I´ll still take children who fail school from their households and continue to play them in said children´s home or suitable foster families.

I wasn't even aware they could be taken away from bad grades, one of my sim children got away with doing no homework at all, at least now if they are failing class they won't be executed! Thank you :D

Default Thank you =)
For some reason, when I push the post thanks button, it doesn't show up as a thanks.. Anyway, thank you for these mods! I think Sim Social Services is pointless, especially since you cannot adopt a child that is taken away >_< Can you also make it possible for children to live on their own if all teens and adults on the lot have died? You are so awesome for these mods! I have been waiting for a long time for some useful mods!

Thanks so much for this!! This drove me crazy when I was trying to get my household of 8 ghosts for the player achievement, and my ghost child was taken away for her bad grades!! Ghost children shouldn't even have to go to school, but they certainly shouldn't be allowed to be taken away by Social Services for any reason. They can't die twice!! I had to go find a new sim to feed to my cowplant. Good to know that no future ghost kids will be forced to attend school for eternity at risk of being ghostbusted.

Why would you even add this in a game?
"Miss Jordan, your child Aron has an F. We're with child protection services. We're taking him away, forever."

I do not understand what the people at EA were thinking when they had the system for children to be taken away and deleted. The dumb message that says "Oh no! Nancy is dead! There are no adults on this lot! Don't worry about Lila though, Sim Social Services will take good care of her." makes me mad, how could they say not to worry about them when they are forever taken away and deleted? Sim Social Services is horrid, I am so grateful for this mod

This is really great! But, it seems to have glitched out my 'make sims' thing. I have a screen shot if needed, it could be this or another mod I have, incase it is this one please address it, other then that, amazing!

Side note - In the future, I might make a "no more Embarrassed moodlet from demotion". They really, really want you to send your child to the Child Containment Center.

PM me with the details.

1/8/2016: New avatar! Pre-censored for EA's approval.
3/19/2015: Teens are too close to YAs. EA needs to either shorten the teens, or add preteens and make YAs look older.

I don't have TS:4, but in earlier games you could re-adopt kids who were taken. It seems that feature met a fate similar to pools and basements.

My parents got mad if I got Cs, but I never had to worry that anyone would execute me. Sims have it rough. Thanks for this awesome mod!

The game really is a throwback to The Sims 1, that game did essentially the same thing I believe, only they got sent to "military school".

My very first Sim-self was sent off to Neverseeyaagain Military Academy. I like to think that those kids ended up becoming player characters in EA's Battlefield games.

Tyvm for this even though my kids are getting A's school is a waist of time and they gain no skills and nothing for going. It's a huge waist of time.

That reminds me - the kid can still be Embarrassed if the parent talks them down.

Probably not related to my mod, this does not alter any eating routines.

Thanks for this. I agree with the others - The whole children going to school in this game has virtually no meaning. I'd think hard about changing it if I had the necessary modding knowledge. I think the simplest thing would be if someone could make it so kids and teens get a skill boost at school that increases in amount per school day, depending on grade level (perhaps one that pertains to current aspiration). Then there'd be real motivation for getting grades up.
