This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Nine recolours for the Maxis “Towering Intellect” bookcase as well as my Moderate and Subordinate versions from here.

They’re all matching something that’s already in the game, or by myself (which in turn is usually also Maxis-matching). All textures are available for all three bookshelves, I only didn’t take screenshots of every single one separately. For the custom bookshelves you need the actual objects from here; for the Maxis one you may want to get this mesh override so the three Maxis colour options also have a declunkified mesh and some slots on top.

All of these colour options sort in the catalogue with the original objects; slots and so on are the same as on those.

Photoshp, Paint.net, s4pe, TSRW, ModdingToolkit.
Style: Contemporary Modern
Room: Living Bedroom Study
Maxis Flags: AddOn

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Needs to be updated, fount out this mod was the culprit behind 'destroying' 2 bookcases and replacing them with some invisible unplaceable item named "**DEBUG**. Showed the items stats and description but broke it.

They work fine for me. Missing text (where you get "DEBUG" instead) is a game issue people sometimes seem to have after patching; I haven't seen it personally but check the Help forums -- I believe "Repair Game" is what you'd need to do.

Theoretically CC items can also conflict with one another when they use the same resource IDs, but the chance for this to happen is extremely small. Which other two bookcases are you talking about, and how did you test this?

Thanks so much, it will be very useful. Would it be possible to split the tall ones in half for a one tile wide unit? Missing the ones in TS3. At any rate, thanks again for these, the short ones will fit in many nooks.

It would be possible, sure. Post in Create if you have questions on how to do so.
