Community Spirit - Round 4 - Elliott - No CC!

This is the home I built for the fourth round of joandsarah77's Community Spirit Contest. (The home was altered ever-so-slightly to fall in line with a comment from a judge, so you may notice some subtle changes.)

The requirements for this round were mainly color based (reds, blues, purples, pinks), along with the need for a shed (to work on bikes) and a garden capable of spawning lots of butterflies! With a budget of 80k to work with, this is the fun result! I offer a two bedroom, one and a half bathroom home on two stories. A small, but functional secret office is in the master bedroom and there is plenty to do on the lot, with a ballet barre, exercise bike, chess set and playground equipment. Brick accent walls break up the lovely blue tones, and each bedroom is appointed with carpet instead of wood floors, for those cold mornings with bare feet!

This house has all the basics included (fire alarm, burglar alarm and phone). No CC was used, but all EPs/SPs are installed. Please enjoy!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

I'm not sure where to start with this house. It is gorgeous! I love the color scheme! Of course, the fact that blue is my favorite color definitely helps. LOL! I love the brick wall you did for the accent wall. It goes really well with the colors. I love the little play area for the little ones and the little workshop for the adult. I also think the touches in the office with the plaques gave the office a very realistic feel. You did an awesome job yet again! Great job!!!

Thank you for the very sweet comment. It is one of my favorite homes too. Of course it helps to have a larger budget to work/play with for all the little extras!
