This is a high quality default replacement texture of a moon on the night sky, based on a photo by NASA. If you have Seasons, any newer expansion pack, or Mansion and Garden Stuff installed, I highly recommend using the skyFix to be able to see the moon.

Conflicts
Do not use with any other default replacements for the moon.

Unfortunately, there are no moon, sun, stars and meteors at all in the neighborhood view.

@WyntersFrost59 The moon is pretty high on the sky so you can't see it without using the TAB key or a camera mod.

Thanks for this. I got to witness something very rare in the sims 2. The twin moon phenomena. I watched it from beginning to end as the two moons got closer to each other and actually overlapped and passed by. And they say astronomy isn't cool LOL.

That "two moon" thing was a bit annoying - is there a way to use this CC without getting duplicate moons?

@Sims2Maven The two moons bug is not caused by CC. This bug occurs even if you don't use any CC.

Guess it's only really noticeable with the Full Moon mod (now why doesn't someone come up with a mod to suppress the extra moon, then?)

@Sims2Maven Unfortunately, it is not as easy as you think. As far as I know, we still don't know how fx resources work so we cannot fix the moon, the sun or any other effects.

Yeah, figures. If it were easy, someone would have done it by now.
