The other day lauratje86 posted a WCIF for bread and It got me thinking about supermarkets. Over here a supermarket is a one stop all in one grocery store. You have sections for fresh produce, canned, cleaning items, baby care, even a small craft, toys, card and garden sections. I decided I really need a proper supermarket selling bread, milk and everything else but I didn't want a huge lot. As often happens I couldn't find what I wanted so I built it myself. Now this version has way less CC than my own game version. My own version has many items all as separate pieces on the shelves but that would be over a hundred cc files so I compromised and used pre-stocked shelves, but did include the bread.


Most of the CC I have included as separate links because I didn't use the entire sets and the one set that I tried to include was in German and I really couldn't tell what I had used or not. All you need do is place the cc into your download folder and it will show up in the lot.

Features

On entering the store your sim will be drawn towards the specials area and by the smell of the freshly brewed coffee and cake. There is an espresso stand and snack machines. In the eating area are two tables but only the straight one is usable, the angled one is for decoration only. The bakery also has a fridge, stove and bench.

Following the green floor tile, it's onto the flowers & gifts, the rack of clothes and magazines. Think about your mum and buy her some flowers. I used a wedding arch there for deco purposes, I doubt it can be used. Who wants to get married in an alcove behind a till anyways. In the back area, there is a flower arranging and toy making bench.
The gift area comes with 3 empty counters for you to place something on.
Suggestions for the empty counters


While the grocery isles all have signs, what is on the shelves does not always match up. We can pretend the choc chip cookies are dog treats, right? There are a few game items on some of the empty shelves and bread.

Along the back is the butcher, deli and freezer/dairy sections. The Butcher has real extracted game fish. The freezers are game freezers but also two recoloured freezers, one for pizza and one for icecream-because you can't go wrong with pizza and ice cream, amiright? No, it doesn't really have pizza and ice cream, it's just a recolour.

Exiting the cold foods there is a photo booth, toy shelves and fresh fruit samples. (Just deco but you might be able to replace it with some kind of edible fruit) Because Jonny really wants the fresh fruit and we at Llama foods believe in children's health and wellbeing. "Mummeee I wanna toy!" Shhh kid. Then the garden section and checkouts.


Games, pet collars and a chocolate stand at the checkouts because I know you really came in here for M&M's. So I believe this is another produce stand, but hey we have our imaginations. The social glasses might be able to be used, I didn't check if they can be reached there or not. I don't know what other countries have, but here Supermarkets always have chocolate and cheap junk at the checkouts and what says 'cheap junk' better than a pair of ugly plastic glasses?


Just in case you can't find something or have a return the information stand is next to the checkouts.

Please leave your trolleys in the outside stands and not on the road! (trolley is a shopping cart)

I also designed this to be player run if you would like. Each section has it's own door from the outside that you can lock and the storeroom could be changed into a staff room.

Included in the file is the chocolate stand as that file is no longer available on here. Close up shown in the pictures since it is quite an old recolour.
Also included is the POS machine from retail sims.
