This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
As a byproduct of some experimenting with light-objects for another project here is a hightech-lightpanel, best suited for use in scifi- or similar lots or in a lab.
It is wall-mounted (highest end of walls), comes with a matching lightpattern and of course a catalog-entry.
It is very low poly (believe me, but I forgot to have a look at the exact polycount) and the package also is very small.

EDIT: Added a second package with this lamp as a floorlamp. It's the one with "b" (for bottom) at the end of the filename.

EDIT: 051805 By demand a shot of the bottom-mounted version.

EDIT: 051905 And finally the panel in medium height (and screenshot).

Hey,

Thanks this has a great modern feel. Do you think you could possibly make it on different levels of the wall. Like one halfway down the wall and one right at the bottom touching the ground. (They would need to be falt agaisnt the wall though).

Thanks, and where did you get that wall.

Thanks.

Yes, I guess more variations of this are not a bad idea and should be done easily; one on the floor, just rotated 180° appeals me. I think I will do that later today and post it in this thread.

The wall-texture was "borrowed" from another game and converted to Sims 2 with Homecrafter.

happy simming,
Xanathon

Nice work xanathon.
I think there would be quite a few of us also drooling over that wall texture. Have you posted that elsewhere on MTS2?

This looks great! I cant wait to test it out. And yes i'd agree one for the bottom and somewhere mid wall would look nice

@Rythela: If "ship" means post-TNG-Star Trek-ship, that was the general idea... :o)

Xanathon, That's what I mean. ^.^ Star Ship from Star Trek. The Corridors with those lights would look like Enterprise or Voyager ^.^
