Veronaville + tutorial (hood) ancestral sims improved (sims only)

UPDATE 9/9/2021: Added two more sim files to extra for my interpretation of Viola Monty. One with her parents features and one without to imitate what maxis did with Romeo and Mercutio.

Lastly the Veronaville ancestors. This one got the biggest update as before I had only done my thumbnail comparison method to some of them, unlike the other two hoods where I did most of them. Now the ancestors are much more accurate and I even gave them their intended hairstyles back.

Some other additions are Cordelia's original face and two other options for a fixed version of Hecuba Thebe along with her broken version. I also included four oc's I had made to be Caliban's grandparents which I've never released. (kind of pointless I know, but it's just for fun.)

Also included in this post are the tutorial sims from the tutorial hood that were missing their data. I also gave four of these guys the thumbnail comparison method too. I included them here as I didn't feel like they needed their own post. These sims can be used to fix the empty files of the original hoods or to start from scratch or even make past versions of the hoods!

Ancestral sims whose data's weren't missing were also included like the capp's. This is just for convenience.

Thanks for viewing!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

  • If you get an error that says "This content requires expansion pack data that is not installed", please use either Clean Installer to install this sim.

Sorry for the late reply. You may want to try reinstalling your winrar. I downloaded the file fine just now with no issues, so it seems it's a problem on your end.

I like your version of these ancestors, pretty accurate. I'm using them on my fixed Veronaville. Thank you!

Hey, ever since I saw this, I was thinking of making a Veronaville like 50ish years ago with these sims, soo I was wondering if I could use them if ever get to it? I love how accurate all of these are

Nice, do you plan on doing the same with the other ep neighborhoods?

Sorry I've a problem: I've downloaded the "veronaville extra sims" and I installed them via Clean Template: I checked everything: face presets, CAS, the neighbourhood sims container but I cannot see anything. The installation had no problem and the files are in the correct folder (download) and in the correct format (package). I cannot know what to do...

@http_error404 : Are you sure you're looking in the right place? You can find them either in Body Shop or in CAS. In Body Shop you'll find them under Build Sims -- Build or Clone Sims. Typically they'll be between any Sims you've made yourself in Body Shop and Sims made by Maxis.

In CAS (Create a Family) choose a Sim of the right age and sex (e.g. Female Teen for Viola Monty) and then in Step 1 (button 1 at the side) click on the Choose Existing Sim button (icon is 6 Sims). Again you'll find these Sims between any Sims you've made yourself in Body Shop and ones made by Maxis and supplied with the game.

To get these Sims into a neighbourhood, you have to save them to the neighbourhood as part of a family in CAS.

All Sims are beautiful -- even the ugly ones.
