Recent Patch Notes

WonderfulWhims v35
  • Added 'Post-Puberty' teen-specific Wonderful Attribute (trait)
    • After installing the High School Years expansion pack, you might notice that all teen Sims are constantly dealing with puberty and acne. Besides it being annoying for the teen Sims, it can be pretty annoying for the player too, so you can now disable puberty and acne on individual teen Sims with the 'Post-Puberty' Wonderful Attribute.
  • Made 'Crush' sentiment require at least Attractive level of Attractiveness
  • Updated Impressions to support new traits and social interactions
  • Added support for the Haunted House, Ferris Wheel, Tunnel Love, and Photo Booth WooHoo

WonderfulWhims v34
  • Compatibility with the 1.90.358 game patch
  • Updated the phone icons to match the new style
  • Added support for the new CAS Sexual Orientation functionality

WonderfulWhims v33
  • Compatibility with the 1.89.214 game patch
  • Support for the Werewolves Game Pack
  • Added support for the Lumpinou’s LGBTQIA+ mod

WonderfulWhims v32
  • Added 'Ovulation' status moodlet
    • To balance the menstrual cycle experience, Sims now know when they are the most fertile, instead of you having to check phone apps or debug info.
  • Simplified and rebalanced the Impressions feature
    • The simplification changes make this feature a lot more straightforward, simply offering additional personality traits that come with social interactions and personality compatibility.
    • Additional social interactions are only available between Sims that discover each other personality and their personalities are compatible. Having conversations that fit Sims compatible personalities grows their positive impression which improves their relationship.
  • Removed the ability to fake personality
  • Replaced the 'Greedy' personality with the 'Sinister' personality
    • The 'Greedy' personality archetype has been replaced due to being very limited and narrow-minded. The 'Sinister' personality archetype is all about doing bad things and making Sims feel bad.
  • Added 'Romance Gender Preference Outcome' setting
    • Normally in the game, Sims don't care about their gender preference and will be alright flirting with anybody, as their preference is meant to be fluid and adapt to the player's actions. With Attractiveness allowing you to select gender preference, this can be problematic as all Sims will respond positively to flirting. The 'Romance Gender Preference Outcome' setting will alter all romance responses to respect gender preference so you will not be confused anymore.
  • Updated text to support custom pronouns
  • Decreased save data size on disk

WonderfulWhims v31
  • Assured compatibility with the 1.85.203 (March 15th) game patch
  • Fixed Sim-specific save data reverting on travel
  • Fixed Attractiveness CAS Likes & Dislikes not updating Sim's gender preferences
  • Fixed some menstrual cycle moodlets not disappearing after Sim's period ends

WonderfulWhims v30
  • Added 'Ask to Stop Using Birth Control' social interaction
    • Sims with developed friendship and romance can now decide together to stop using Birth Control. Sims that agree to stop using Birth Control will stop automatically taking birth control pills and using condoms during WooHoo.
  • Added 'Take Away All Sims Wicked Attributes' interaction
  • Fixed 'Ask about Health' not working correctly
  • Purchasing the 'Crabs Immune' reward trait will now clear crabs from the Sim

WonderfulWhims v29
  • Stability fixes and improvements

WonderfulWhims v28
  • Fixed a minor issue with the reworked save system

WonderfulWhims v27
  • Assured compatibility with the 1.82.99 game patch
  • Fixed and reworked the integrated save system for improved stability
  • Fixed Sims gender preference not updating on game load

WonderfulWhims v26
  • Added 'NPC Sims Birth Control Use Behavior' Birth Control setting
    • With this setting you can control how likely NPC Sims are to use birth control during WooHoo/Try for Baby.

WonderfulWhims v25
  • Fixed Sims using a condom twice during WooHoo/TFB
  • Fixed not being able to change pads or tampons using public bathrooms
  • Improved compatibility with the 'CAS Preferences Disabler' mod
  • Fixed compatibility issues with Lumpinou's mods

WonderfulWhims v24
  • Added an ability to Export & Import settings between saves
  • You can now easily select all Sims or specific groups of Sims you want to give Wicked Attributes
  • Added icons to flirty social interactions when clicked Sim is considered at least Very Attractive
    • Tired of opening the Sim Profile panel to see if your Sim finds another attractive? The Attractiveness icons will now show up on flirty interactions when your Sim finds the clicked Sim very attractive.
    • After reaching 25% of the romance bar the icons will disappear to keep things looking cleaner.
  • Added 'Birth Control Effect on Period' Menstrual Cycle setting
    • For those who want Sims to experience periods, but still prevent pregnancy with Birth Control Pills, disable this setting to make Birth Control Pills not affect the menstrual cycle PMS/period.
  • Added 'Decreased (Very Low)' Menstrual Cycle Fertility Level
    • If you need an even lower chance of Sims getting pregnant using the Menstrual Cycle, you can now use the 'Decreased' level.
    • 0%-3% (Window I)
    • 6%-10% (Window II)
    • 15%-20% (Window III/Ovulation)
  • Manual non-instant usage of tampons/pads no longer displays a notification
  • Added Sweating
  • Added 'Sweating Overlay Switch' setting
    • Everybody sweats, even Sims, although that wasn't very visible until now. Giving your Sims a workout will result in a gradually increasing layer of sweat on their body. With that, you can easily tell how much effort they put into trying to stay healthy and fit.
  • Added 'No Sweat' reward trait
    • Sims with the ‘Gym Rat’ trait sweat a lot less, and purchasing the 'No Sweat’ reward trait completely prevents sweating. Obviously, the entire feature can be disabled with 'Sweating Overlay Switch’ setting.

I am also not able to switch off the menstrual cycle. I am having to do it manually for every female Sim every time I play. This has just been happening since the last update of the mod.

Thank you so much for all you do for us in developing this mod and maintaining it for us! I really do love it!

This causes extreme lag when exiting build/buy mode on 64x64 lots. Tried without any other mods and 100% this is the reason. Unforunate because I have a powerful gaming pc but this is causing lag

Default WickedFul Whims??
These mods are amazing, Turbo. I wish there was a "Medium Place" version of Wicked/Wonderful Whims that still had whoohoo animations but.....less porn, more "Lifetime Movie" whoohoo animations? At any rate, your work is fricken amazing!!

Hey, so I just tested it in my game and the switch to turn menstrual cycle off seems to be working correctly.
Are you sure you're referring to menstrual cycle added by WoW and not some other mod?

Default Developing Attraction
I've been having an issue lately with Developing Attraction for my sims. I don't know if it's an actual issue or if I'm misunderstanding the mod. Let me provide an example to explain myself better:
For sim A, I have their preferences set to "Develop A's Preferences Based on Romantic Partners". Now, another sim, sim B, just grew up into a teen, and I'd like to see what kind of preferences they get at random so they can start dating. So I went into sim B's attraction setup, saw that the Romantic Partner one was selected by default (which is why they couldn't develop any attraction), and clicked Randomize Preferences. Simply because I wanted the games to choose something random for sim B that I could work with. Now. I can't help but notice that whenever I choose a different attraction method for a sim (by partners, by parents, etc), it doesn't only change it for *that specific sim*. It changes it for all my other sims too, which I don't want. I want the rest of my sims to, say, keep being attracted to sims based on their romantic partners, but I want sim B (who's had no romantic partners) to be developed via a different method. So despite the fact that when you look at the menu, the menu clearly says "Develop Sim B's Preferences by...", it changed the rest of my sims (probably outside my household too) as well.
Am I misunderstanding something here? Because from the wording in the menu, I should only be able to Develop my selected sim's preferences. Not also accidentally change my other married sims to get attraction based on that thing too. It's just a little frustrating for storytelling purposes, so I want to know if I'm doing something wrong here. Any reply is greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what the issue seems to be.
If you change one Sim's preferences, it doesn't change them for anyone else, unless you've picked the option to develop other Sims' preferences.

I'm having issues turning off or editing any of the settings in the Pregnancy Settings. My sim is a teen, and the options to disable pregnancy, Player sims pregnancy chance, NPCS pregnancy chance, and birth control settings are all grayed out that I can't edit them at all. I have the Woohoo wellness mod and MCCC as well, and I have the setting unchecked to have Wonderful mod to over wright other mods off, but I still can't turn it off.

Hi!

If options are grayed out, that would mean that you have switched off another setting that also turned off the settings you're trying to tweak right now, since they'd become obsolete.

TURBODRIVER, how come your mod has made all of my female characters infertile? Can you make it AN OPTION to be infertile in the next update instead of "damn that sucks, guess you can't have kids!"

Hey!

WonderfulWhims doesn't render anyone fertile, it does however introduce a feature called "Menstrual Cycle", which is based on a real life thing!
That makes it so there's only a small window during the menstrual cycle that allows your Sims to easily become pregnant, and you have to plan accordingly!
Or you can just go into the settings and turn the feature off altogether.

My female sim is having some issues. She is currently ovulating though she just had a pre menstrual syndrome buff. I have it on the normal cycle duration but she ovulated four sim days ago and had 0% chance of becoming pregnant which is odd because in real life ovulation is when you can become pregnant.

How come when I get duplicates, and I don't even know how or why that happens, that the second copy ends up in my Saves folder? Do you have any idea how or why this happens and for that matter, how to prevent or rather stop it from happening? Is it some weird mod conflict or what?
