Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
One of my first trys at making a non-original sim!

The hair was the worse thing to make. Since I can't make meshes(Milkshape has been dead since 03.), I had to make do with the ones in the game. And personal, I'd rather have bangs over a braid/ponytail. So I picked this hairstyle out of like...5 others.

The outfit was pretty much made out of pictures of Edward I found across the net. But I think it looks pretty good.

The face was made to look like the one from the Hawkeye sim I have downloaded. So they look similar. I did that so that they'd match and look alike.

There are two outfits here. One with his coat, and one without. In the sim2pack is the coat version. The extra package is the other outfit. Each outfit is listed as normal, formal and sports.

Custom skin tone aswell, from teen to elder there is an automail leg and arm with scars. Made for both females and males. There are also anime style eyes for Edward aswell.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Special Installation Instructions
  • If you get an error that says "This content requires expansion pack data that is not installed", please use either Clean Installer to install this sim.

Without a new mesh it's impossible. :Slap: I went through 5 different hairstyles, to see if I COULD do the braid and bangs. But no luck. It's either; braid, and short/no bangs or Bangs and no braid. Take your pick.

My Ed has OriasMalePonyTale mesh (pony with bangs) and it doesn't look so bad! I love the black suit! Really nice look to it! Nice work~

Ooh, nifty! I especially love the outfits.
I hear you on the hair thing. The limited Maxis style are so frustrating! I wish you could tweak with hairstyles like you can with facial features and things, without having to build a whole new mesh. I'm hopeless at meshing-_-o

Well, the main milatary uniform came from the Hawkeye sim I downloaded. I just reused the same outfit for everyone. (Even tho I had to remake it for teens, and males.) She can be found here. http://blog.naver.com/astralsims2.do

Wow, that's really cool! It'll go well with the alchemist career... I don't suppose you're working on an Alphonse are you? I'd think metal would be quite hard to do, especially without a mesh.

o.o Alchemist career?

Sadly, I'm not. If I do make an Al sim, it'd most likely be when he's human. But I don't plan on it, at least any time soon.



Slight update: I already have Roy and Hughes done, however I don't know if I'll be posting them up any time soon, as i'm quite unhappy with them... Check back at my sim page(should have a link in my profile), I'll be posting all my FMA creations there. Good and bad.

Btw...Up next...Central headquarters and the dorms! (Oh how hard this will be...)

Cool , I downloaded this a while ago and never posted anything, I don't know why not. Anyway, I can't wait until you get a better roy, my friend is eating me alive:claw: because I don't have him in the game. I'll be waiting for Mustang. Hopefully I'll still be alive by then! :rip:

And yeah, armored Al would really be something-- it would take someone with -serious- skills to do that. I know a ton of awesome skinners and they've all been stumped with making Al. xD;;

Yes, if only my 3D program didn't die on me back in 03, I would so be making Tin Man right now...As I seem to have a problem..who do I make next? >.>

Roy IS done, however horrible. Check my sim page(link in profile) for other FMA downloads, sucha as Roy.
