Pictured is the 9th Doctor with the TARDIS wallpaper.

The new zip file contains 6 different wallpapers. 4 Exterior + 2 of interior Roundels.
Also include is the new tile to make a roof which can be found in Flooring/Poured.

Included in the file are the pieces to make the ceramic 4x4 Rassilon Seal image (as requested).

Plus Door recolour:

Wallpaper will appear in the PANEL section and when assembled creates a TARDIS-like object.

To make the one in the picture I used the following 2 cheats to get the lamp in the center since its normally a table lamp:

moveobjects on

boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false

* * * Newly Added: TARDIS Console * * *
Thanks to VampCat for this object which is a 1st version prototype.

Console redesign created and reproduced with permission by: Rob Semenoff

When 'parked' with this version of the console the central column descends into the base. This design has quite a bit in common with the console introduced half way through the 5th Doctor era which continued through the 7th Doctor era. More technical info and a guide to which button to press can be found here:

Because this object started out it's sim life as a table it still has some of those properties and one of the pictures shows the addition of a table-lamp that looks like a big light-bulb. There is a possibility of other objects being custom-built for this position and also some recolours with the more traditional console appearance.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

I can't see the wallpaper very well because the screenshot is so dark. Would there be any way that you could upload a screenshot of your wallpaper during the day?

Whhhoo! finally :D

now then, the next question....can you also do the interior wall paper too? (means the old roundels rather than the strange steam-punk stuff they are using now)

but still ^^ whoo who! i can have the tardis in both versions of the sims now :D

wow, thanks rob ^^ have you thought of making it bigger at all? but i do like the fact that its a table so i can add a lamp....what about using a single kitchen cabinate for a base, that might be high enough?

oooh, and you could make lamps that look like the console thing that goes up and down ^^! they look fab even as lamps, but with more thanone, you could add the master, the Rani hell, even the old Meddling Monk ^^ wheee....

*needs to let a sugar rush subside*

still, thanks a million :elephant: :buddies:

The scale of the console is being looked at for the second version. Hopefully this will be ready in the next few days. It's still being experimented with and hopefully can have it's width to height ratio tweaked without too much drama.

There are plans for some future additions and enhancement but the key though is time.

Any chance of getting an interior wallpaper avaliable for those of us without University? Preferably the large roundels. My many TARDISes don't look right on the inside XD

Er...same with the console, really. If you can put it where only Nightlife and original could use it, I would be eternally grateful (and so would my Sim Doctors)
