This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.

Hi everyone,

Here are four photo-realistic skins of bird's wings I did for DBCAB's wings mesh, which you can download from here:

http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=77045

The bird's wings are: raven (black), snowbird (white), eagle (lighter brown) and hawk (dark brown).

NOTE: you will need DBCAB's wings mesh for these recolors to work. The mesh works for all ages except for toddler and is for both genders, and these recolors will show up for same.

*** Edit 4th January 2006***

These wings are a gift to DBCAB, and as such, DBCAB has all rights of recoloring and redistribution of these skins for their wings mesh. If you would like to recolor or redistribute these skins, please ask DBCAB.

"That's right."

Yes, I guess they did Actually, this is the only set of skins that were the quickest ever I've done. Maybe 6 hours all up to do the four. I found really great photos on the web, and they weren't too difficult to photoshop in order to fit the mesh (although there was a substantial degree of mucking about for the non-raven ones).

The black ones were off a raven, and the others were actually off a goose! Once the goose photo was adapted, it was very quick to change the color to get white and dark brown. Anyone who sees the skin texture file itself will see the original goose

I checked the link - it works for me, although it took a little while (maybe the site is slow right now). Give it a go a bit later.
