Are there plans to complete the other chance cards? So far it's only level 3 that has one.

This is just my opinion- on the third chance card, I think that losing $10,000 is rather harsh. If I were you, I'd leave the large money losses until later on in the career, say at levels 9 or 10.

Okay, I will work on that. I also changed the HMV to a mid sports car, because I, at the creation time, didn't know what the HMV looked like. I'm going to edit my post and add in your idea of moving that chance card later on in the career, and get working on new ones. I just finished working on it, so I'll post up what I have so far.


I made chance cards up to lvl 6 and changed that fine from §10,000 to §1,000. Feel free to check out what I have so far.

Yes, in SimPE there is a Career Editor plugin, and you can press like "Delete Level" or "Add Level"

Carreer editor plugin is disabled in my computer.

What version of SimPE do you have? Can you be a little bit more specific about the issue- is the option to go to the plugin blanked out, or is it just not there?

What are the pay levels?

God Superfly U Really Are Annoying

In what way am I "really annoying"? Is it because I look over careers and feedback on them? I don't see why you should critisize me for helping new career creators spot mistakes in their uploads.

EDIT (After Uploading New File): It is in zip folder format, because WinRAR wont open up my rar Archive, or a new one. :sorry: that this had to happen, but all you have to do to install it is download it, double click the folder to open it, and press Extract All Files.

Yes, I need help creating an icon. For some reason, nothing will open the so-called ".JPG" file. Says it's not valid. So, if you could help me on that, It would be most appreciated.

For some reason even though SimPE exports the icon as a jpg, it seems like it's really a tga file. If you rename it from .jpg to .tga you should be able to open it in any program that can open tga files (Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro etc). The background will show up as purple instead of transparent.

I cannot download it. i hit the zip file and it loads the same page with no box asking whether to open or save or cancel!!

I fail to see how helping people out constitutes as annoying. Geez. Its people like you who made me lose my interest in helping career makers out or continue making careers. If you dont have constructive things to say, dont say anything at all.

At least save the attacking helful people until its YOU they're helping - then if you don't want the help of an experienced creator FEEL FREE to attack them.

This career looks great - next update needs "legand" changed to "legend" - assuming the details in the post are identical to those in the game.
I'm also fairly sure that if some chance cards are incomplete the base game can't run it, correct me if I'm wrong or if you've already updated that. I now have all EPs so I can't put that to the test. SimPE does seem to do strange things to images. With major icons I usually save as a .tga from SimPE, then use GIMP 2 to convert it into a .png: of course there's no garuntee that that will work in careers.

I just happened upon this since I myself am a firefighter and would like to help you out a bit. What size does the icon have to be and any specific colors required? Also in the event you want some more names to replace the others here are some other firefighter ranks for you to add or swap out!

Probationary Firefighter (aka Probie)
Safety Sgt. (is in charge of safety of the firefighters)
Lieutenant (is an officer and has some command of the fire department, can have one for EMS and Fire)
Captain (is an officer and has some command of the fire department, can have one for EMS and Fire)
Battalion Chief (used mainly in the northeast)
Deputy Chief (2nd in command)

I'm only here for 2 days or so and wasn't it for superfly I would have left again I think. I'm into making careers but it isn't as easy as I would have wanted. Wasn't it for superfly I would have given up immediatly but now I have finally made my own custom career.
