Exactly! Which is why I always make backups of any files that are supposed to be replaced, like those .ini's.

I actually couldnt figure this out. When I tried it, trees disppeared from 500 feet away, instead of never.

If you can direct me to an already-made ini replacement, I can convert that to package for you.

To get everything else not to fade just use the "testingcheatsenabled true" code in the console (ctrl-shift-C to bring up the console) then the "fadeobjects off" cheat

Also, type "help" into the console for a list of cheats. The list is longer after the testingcheats code has been used

Claeric, when my sims are up (meaning not seated) and i aproach the camera in front to them, it always fixes around the chest area.
If they're seated it fixes in their face.
I don't get why this is so.
It as nothing to do with your mod (which is incredible) it already happened before.
Do you think would be possible to fixe the camera in their faces ( even when they're on their feet) without having to turn it in a up to down angle?
Hope this make sense. And hope you know how to help me.

It looks like the creator is banned from this site for some reason. That means he will not be able to update it for the new patches unless he return back to this site or upload at other site.

OMG! I've been waiting for this since I got my copy of Sims 3 last year! It's so annoying that they fade like that, grr! Thanks so much!

If you refer to the "TAB" camera then you can use the Q and W buttons to adjust camera height. just dont press Q outside of the TAB camera.
