2015-01-25 - Fixed a facepalmy bug that I introduced with a recent cleanup. Thanks to igazor for providing a script error that helped me pinpoint it.
2015-01-11 - Updated Commons. Affects Scribbling Pad, DouglasVeiga Dancer Servcer, Moar Interactions and Buy Takeout. If you use any of them, download the updated version, please.
2014-03-15 - Updated to game version 1.67. Availability tuning works again.

This mod is a compilation of interactions that are either entirely new or altered/fixed EAxian interactions. The latter one is done by replacing the original interactions.

tuning
The tuning package contains two XML resources for tunables and an XML resource for the basic availability of the interactions. Except for the latter one, there is no documentation, but the names should be mostly self-explaining. If you're able to do tuning/XML modding, just skip this and do your shtick. If you're new to to this, get yourself S3PE and read the instructions. It will work with other package editors as well of course, but I will only explain it for S3PE.



translation
Wherever possible, I used already existing and localized strings; new strings are fully localizable. If you are willing to support a translation, please read the instructions.

Disclaimer: I consider my mods to be free as free beer, copyleft - all right reversed, whatever you may call it. I expect the same from your translation! If you are not okay with this, then don't support a translation! If you already supported a translation and are not okay with this, tell me and I will pull it.

legal stuff

possible conflicts
This is a scripting mod and as such the possibility for conflicts with other mods, no matter what kind, is next to non-existant. Other scripting mods that replace interactions might tangle with this mod, though. I've implemented safeguards for the cases I know. Heads Up! If you check this mod in Delphy's Dashboard, it may show a conflict with my other mods. You can ignore that. It's by design, i.e. some of my mods share one framework resource. It will actually conflict in the sense that the game will only load one instance of that resource. That's the whole point, though.

installation
Please follow Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Fileswiki. I can't explain it any better than that. Seriously, I won't even try even if you ask me.

deinstallation
Do NOT just rip this mod out! If one of the interactions of this mod is currently running when you save your game, you may become unable to load your savegame without this mod!

This mod contains a lot of autonomous interactions, so even if you make sure that none of your active sims currently perform one of the interactions, there's still a very high chance that a townie is performing one.

Prior to deinstallation, reset all sims in town by opening the console with Ctrl-Shift-C and using "ResetSim *" (without the quotes). Alternatively use twallan's ErrorTrap mod which will drop all "illegal" interactions upon load.

I support my mods. I appreciate bug reports. I don't support mods or custom content in general. It's not an issue with a mod if it doesn't even show up in the game.

The Dashboard can't detect conflicts with script mods - only tuning mods. And from past experience - this mod required an edit to the optional tuning file to make slow dancing work. Not sure if that's the case now, because I haven't played Sims 3 in quite awhile.

Is there a trick to being able to cook with a stove on a community lot? I created a base camp and added it to a town and my sim only has the option to upgrade the stove. On the fridge she only has the option for a quick snack.

I removed most of my other mods and cc, replaced the stove and fridge with base game appliances, cleared my cache files and started a fresh test game, but the option to Have/Serve is still not available. Mods/cc used in test game: Buzzler, NRaas, CC skins/eyes/makeup.

ETA: I tried another test game with the same results (removed all mods except Buzzler's and NRaas Traveler, and used different sims from the library/bin). The wood fire oven works on a community lot so I'll just use that until I figure this out.

I haven't used this in a long time, but from what I can remember is serve never worked quit right for me, because you can't store leftovers on a community lot - at least I never could. I never had any problem cooking on any stoves though. I could do serve, but I had to throw out any additional servings that were left after my Sims were done eating. So, a trash compactor and regular trash can were necessary for that (besides having a dumpster for realism, if you're into that).

Thank you for your response about cook/serve on community lots. I'm going to download this again, clear everything out and try again in a vanilla game. And I'll keep trying until it works : ) Such a shame our Sims can't make full use of all the appliances on community lots.

I should have written you need a recycle bin for indoors and a large one for outdoors, since we can't place the home trash cans on community lots (brain lapse!). I'm getting ready to playtest my first community lot in ages with a stove, etc on it and see what happens. I have cabins on my state park lot that I just redid in Storybrook County. I am praying the stove works or I will be crushed. It's a major reason I use this mod. I've been absorbed in Skyrim and other games, plus real life, so this is the first time I've opened Sims 3 and really did anything with it in quite awhile. My Sims 4 experience soured me a bit on the series too and that's finally wearing off now.

I haven't seen any other complaints though and I know a lot lot of Simmers use this mod, so we'll see what happens. Either way, I will report back with my own results. I can't imagine it's a mod conflict, but with the Dashboard unable to detect conflicts between scripting mods, I have no idea. I've played Sims long enough I should know what would cause this to stop working as intended, but I'm clueless.

Anyway. Hope it works for both of us! Will report back soon. Hopefully if it doesn't work - there is some way to narrow down the problem or Buzzler can take a look at it.

It sounds like you might need Sleep Freedom which is an NRAAS mod. I don't know if that will solve your problem though.

Hi,

I don't know if you'll get a chance to read this, but this apparently conflicts with Ani's No Shopping From Fridge mod. I've tried to poke around and take a look at the ITUNs of both to try and get them to work, but I haven't been able to. Can you point me in the right direction, because both mods are awesome and I'd love to use them. Thank you for creating this

@Joyius - this mod nukes the autonomous water balloon and snowball fights.

I've had both Buzzler's and this mod in place for ages and never had any trouble getting them both to work. However, the older verisons of Ani's mod as available on MTS will conflict with icarus_allsorts' mods. The updated version of Ani's is available at NRaas.

Ah, thank you for the answer. I have version 7 of the mod, which I think is the latest. I've never had issues with icarus_allsorts's mods either.
What I have discovered after some more testing is that the conflict happens only on vacation; Moar Interactions works fine, but No Fridge Shopping doesn't work at all (meals still display price necessary to prepare, if Sim lacks the ingredients). In the homeworld, both work fine. So I suppose it's not such a big deal if it's only in that case, and I'll use them both

The work overtime interaction alters my sim's work schedules in such a way that they are required to work on days off. I suspect their schedule is shifted by one day. So, even though the career tab shows a day off the sim is pushed to go to work and loses job performance from missing work if they don't go. The only way I know to fix it is to quit the career entirely and rejoin and correct for level and performance via MasterController. Simply removing the mod didn't fix the issue.

I must say, thank you so much for this mod! It's absolutely amazing and I love having my sims socialize friendly and funny interactions autonomously without going to do something stupid, getting rid of grouping upon the "go to lot with" interaction. Absolutely incredible mod, thank you. I did have a question though, it seems that these social macros are autonomous and that even though my sim has good or friendly traits, they purposely go out of there way using mean interactions until the relationship bar is completely red with another sim. It only seems to affect sims that are in a non-active household. Is there any way that I could make the social interactions only user directed and not autonomous? Thanks!
