Thank you, Vagrant! This is perfect!
Usually, I wouldn't be interested in this kind of thing, but my story seems to have gotten caught in a bizzarre plot fluke. It's a painfully long tale to tell, but to cut things short I have a favorite pair - a beautiful witch (female) and a shy albino (male). The two met at college (or rather, the albino developed a deep romantic crush on the witch but could never quite muster enough courage to talk to her), but her life was ended all-too-soon in a freak accident. The albino was devestated, resorting to using what little magical knowledge he had to summon the grim reaper. Unfortunately, ressurections are dreadfully expensive and he was dirt-poor. The reaper quickly rejected his meager offer, refusing to preform bring her back. In desperation, he managed to barter the only thing he had left to offer - his soul. The reaper took pity on him, agreeing to take only half of his soul. As a result his love was ressurected, though only half-way (remaining a zombie), though he saw only the girl he loved. As promised, the albino was transformed into a vampire - half of his life he would be as a dead man (sleeping in a coffin, etc.) and the other half remained his to do with as he pleased. Despite her decaying flesh and his deathly pallor, the two fell deeply in love, though they were only ever able to be together at night.
Sadly, it seems that Maxis didn't want zombies to be able to breed... No matter what I tried, I couldn't get my zombie-witch pregnant. Instead, I was forced to use the Tombstone of L&D to artificially impregnate my albino-vampire. This worked fairly well, (despite the overall awkwardness of male pregnancy) allowing them to give birth to a healthy little girl. However, on the second try (wanting multiple kids) I accidentally clicked on their daughter's name as the genetic donor instead of the mother, though I didn't realize the mistake until I later saw the resulting child's family tree. Since then, I've had a lot trying to make the strangest possible family tree combinations, just for the fun of it. xD
This is also fantastic for a set of Persian royalty families I've been working on. When each Prince has 3+ wives and each wife can give birth to 2-6 kids, it's difficult finding eligable mates - especially after a few generations of intermarrying between the royal houses. Now those long-distant, possibly even unrelated cousins (legal, not blood) can marry without Maxis throwing a hissy fit. ;P
