Uncle Waldo's Estate

Alright, after a long hiatus of not really doing anything, I present to you... a house that I built over 6 months ago! Ok fine, so it's a *little* bit old... but that's actually a plus: I built it before Open For Business came out, and I built it without using a single piece of custom content! I decided to leave the house unfurnished, because quite frankly I ran out of steam after building it... and I think it's more fun to let everyone furnish their houses for themselves anyway.

So now, without further ado, I present:

The Story-

Uncle Waldo was a friendly old guy who made his fortune doing heaven-only-knows-what in the sunny state of California. He wasn't technically *involved* with anything illegal, but let's just say that he knew which people he needed to be especially friendly towards. Anyway, when he had finally amassed enough of a fortune, he built this mansion: a gloriously gawdy tribute to people with way too much money!

The Specifics-

Lot size: 5 x 5

Lot value: §203,995

Custom Content: none to speak of

My Policy Thingy-

Yeah, you know the drill... this isn't an object or a clothing mesh, but I would really appreciate if you wouldn't distribute it anywhere. It's still a piece of art, and I worked very hard to create it. Go ahead and use it to your heart's content in screenshots/stories/movies... credit is always nice, but not required.

Final Note-

This lot was created before Open For Business was released, and therefore contains no game content beyond Nightlife. I'm pretty sure that this means that Open For Business isn't required, but I checked the requirement box just in case.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Great job jhd1189! I'm really impressed of how much detailed is the the design plan and love the outside decoration. Very well realized indeed, I guess how much work you put into this manor but the result is great. Thank you forever. Kiss and ciao.

Great house, I downloaded it yesterday and I've been having a blast decorating it. I hope Uncle Waldo doesn't mind that it's no longer gold and has all new windows (Marina's) They look awesome. LOL
thanks for sharing it!

I'd love to see a picture of what you've done with the place! The only reason I didn't use Marina's windows was because I was trying to make something custom content free... haha and don't worry, uncle Waldo doesn't mind a bit.
