This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Hey all.. my life's been a piece of crap lately, so sorry for the lack of downloads. I hope you don't mind

Here I have a perfectly nasty awesome lamp (maybe seen on Napleon Dynamite :P)

First of all, thankies to all such as Numemor for his clean, base game environment, and Delphy for nurturing this place to life, the folks over at SimPE, and the folks over at Milkshape.

This lamp has been a passion of mine to create for about three months now. I have mulitple versions, each slightly different from each other. This particular, final model was half meshed in TurboCAD v12 (lower) and the other half meshed in Milkshape (upper). I had never meshed for the Sims in TurboCAD till now, so I think it turned out looking quite good.

Facts That Some Care About

Polygon Count - 1329 - Yes I realize it's high, but the mesh is detailed *sorry*
In-Game Cost - 129 - I tried to go realistic, but really had no idea
Compatibility - BASE GAME and UP - Tested in Numenor's Base Game Env. Thanks man
Catalogue Placement - Lighting>TableLamps
Files - ZK_gaudylamp_1707_MESH[3].rar - only file so self explanatory
Images - 2nd shows feet detail | 3rd lamp general off | 4th lamp general on (daytime)

You know the drill, Feel free to recolor only on this site please. If you do recolor and want to put it on another site please PM me for permission.

By the way, how do you like my new thumbnail images? I'm looking for some feedback on this as well.

Thanks! zook

I like the lamp, artsy! I have had crappy life moments lately as well, that's why I hide away in the Sims World. It always gets better...eventually.

What the....I love these lamps!! How can anyone say they're ugly! I see a million possibilities with re-colors. I hope someone makes some cause I don't know how. Something in blue and white asian style with a white shade would be beautiful!

My grandmother had some of these lamps in her house! This lamp is perfect for the Oldies! About your thumbnail - it doesn't matter to me because I don't really notice the image. I see your name and I know that it's a download I've got to have! Thanks!

Julie =)

*edit* It works now. It must have been my computer. Thanks anyway!

Hey Zookini, this is a really great Lamp! No offense to those that had to live with lamps like these, but it'll go great in my elder's homes. =)

I love your introductory thumbnail images. They are especially stylized which stick out a lot, but they completely and accurately describe the item.

Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to your next project!

These would be awesome if they had solid shades and bases, just to match with stuff in regular sim houses. It would be cool if they did have some sort of "70's" colour spectrum.
