"In the bleak mid-winter,
Frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron,
Water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
Snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter,
Long ago.”

by C. Rossetti

Description
- Lot size is 3X4
- Hack-free (checked via Clean Installer)
- Unfurnished because, well, it’s in ruins
- For best results, install with the Sims2Pack Clean Installer, found here: http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/

Custom Content NOT Included:
- NNNNatali’s winter recolors of the Maxis baytree, found here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=214841
- NNNNatali’s winter recolor of the Maxis rosebush and hibiscus, found here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=215121

*NOTE: The lot has been upload without NNNNatali’s exquisite tree and bush recolors. Instead I have left the Maxis originals in place, so just download her recolors and apply them as I have in the pictures provided. (I found that with her recolors, the lot’s size only increases by 10kb, so I highly recommend them.)

Custom Content Included:
-Custom wallpaper, terrain and tiles by V1ND1CARE

* Please DO NOT upload this lot, or any of my other works, to the Exchange and/or any paysites without my consent.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

It's beautiful and so unlike most of the other lots on this site. You make such interesting, fantasy-like lots that are just so appealing. I can't get enough of it frankly, you just don't see lots like this everyday. Thank you very much.

I missed this creation for some reason, just today I've met this dream. The ruins and the white cold weather enchanted me. Thank you V1ND1CARE, your creativity and talent are gifts for the community! Kiss and ciao.

I love this! I'm hoping i'll be able to use this in an upcoming story that I've got in the works, as its just to perfect.

Its the kind of place I enjoy visiting in real life, so i'm sure my sims will love it also. Thank you VERY much for making this, and your other amazing work too!
