This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Hello everyone!

There are some great Harry Potter/Wizarding World related items on this site but what I wanted is something to compliment them – i.e. a collection that can be used when you are playing a character from the WW - so a budding Potions Master does not have to have Slytherin on his bed but rather a much more appropriate set of Alchemy symbols and a future Healer can have Unicorns, Stars and Moon instead of Hufflepuff symbols. I believe it can also be used regardless of the HP/WW world.

There are two collections – Alchemy; and Unicorn, Stars and Moon with the following items:

Double and single bed (wood and bedding); dresser; end table; chair (wood and cushions); sofa (wood and cushions); recliner (wood and cushions); coffee table (single and double); desk (cheap and expensive version); chair for desk (wood and cushions); plant (the pot); four paintings (frame and image); rugs (Echo’s all three sizes); bookcase (wood only); toy box; fireplace (same for both collections)

Which makes 24(23) files in each of these. Wood textures are grey for Alchemy and white for Unicorn collection. Collection files also made but first time doing this so be gentle – HPA and HPU – are the names in-game.

Some photos - Alchemy, then Unicorn set:

Recliners, double coffee table, large rug, fireplace, bookcase, chair for desk, smaller painting (poster):

Sofa, recliner, chair, large rug, smaller coffee table, large and smaller painting; details from above in the thumbnails below.

Double bed, end table, dresser, large rug, double coffee table, large and smaller painting:

Detail from the above – the engraving of alchemy symbols/star on the wood plus bedding are in the thumbs below.

Single bed, end table, medium rug, dresser, smaller coffee table, toy box, large painting plus poster:

Desk (expensive), chair for it, medium rug, chair, bookcase, plant, poster plus banner:

The paintings (except for the banner, it’s nicely seen above already):

NOTE: For the toy box and banner to work you need Family Fun Stuff pack, the rest works with OFB.

NOTE: Who doesn’t have it – rug mesh.

If you like it say thank you, this took a lot of work! Hope you enjoy them! :D

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Looks great! I particularly like how you resolved the unicorn bedding and upholstery.

I noticed that you only listed Sims2 as required, but aren't some of those meshes from OFB?

Hey! I am glad to see you think it worked! I ended up changing quite a few things, but much better like this IMO. Thank you! :D

Hmm ... well actually I listed it as OFB required, I can even see the OFB sign in the initial post for the req EPs ... how odd. Do you see Sims2 icon?

hmmm... It is definitely OFB, now. When I read it before, I thought it was Sims2 -- but I hadn't had any caffiene yet at that time. Don't know if it actually changed or if my brain was more shut down than I thought.

Anyway, I totally agree that this is much better -- which is saying a lot, because the original version was nice.

Lol, yes I can relate to the caffeine deficiency, I am making my third right now! But good that it is all right, though I included the OFB req in my post as well due to the FFS mention, which isn't listed when you upload

Hey, grey solved it all! Thanks for all the feedback once again, I was seriously stumped by then, guess when you look at something too long, it all turns the same. Glad you like it! :D

Thanks!
Check out Lethe_s here on MTS2, some great stuff there - Divination deco, Wizard's study, Witches' parlour and Cauldron are all sets with lots of clutter for HP, all of mine comes from these threads. There's much more than what I used up there.

Thank you so much! I have been having problems building everyone's houses so that they don't all look alike. The Muggle homes are no problem, but getting Draco's to not look like Dumbledore's, or Snape's, or well, you get the idea. With the limited number of objects for the WW, it's been quite a challenge! You are wonderful!!!!

This'll not only be great for Harry Potter related Sims, but will work great for my Drow sims as well. Great job!
