hey can you preform funerals and weddings with this career path thing? cause that would be VERY cool!!! and if so how?

I'm not sure about funerals, I'm looking for that myself. But http://www.pc-sims.com has a wedding mod that summons a priest. It can be any Sim you choose so the sim that follows this career path could be used. The link is currently down but try again later. You do need to sign up, it's quick, easy, and free though.

Although I also would like to see a single career path for both men and women, I do understand the creator's personal beliefs. I am very pleased that he is willing to create on so please be nice.

To the creator: I know that it would far easier to simply use the current job tree and make it male/female, but if you could possible make the career a bit more generic as well that would be even better. By that I mean something that isn't tied to one branch of the christian faith. A quick google search perhaps? If that isn't possible I understand.

I agree with you hellsfury 25m. I was raised baptist, independent baptist to be exact, and they also teach, in accordance with the bible, that women are not to be in a position over men in the church. I no longer belong to any religion but I am still spiritual and don't believe women should be pastors but they can be great teachers. By the way I do have a female cousin that is a pastor in a methodist church, so this is not to put anyone down or criticize anyone, I just don't personally agree with women pastors, and I am a woman.

Awana? That is awesome. I am so glad you added that. Too bad the girls can't be pastors, but really this is great. Thanks soooo much.

I would like to request a Catholic version, I know that you already made the church of england version, it's just the titles that change, instead of Associate Pastor can it be Decon, and then Pastor be Priest? and Maybe Cardinals and the Pope. Thanks

Not really. In most (forward thinking) churches women not only preach, they make as much as their counterparts. My mother preached. Yes, from the pulpit. My priest ordained a female priest. Yes, she preaches. Actively. In a church in Alabama. Women are not just for sitting in the pew and saying 'Amen!' to their preachers and sitting in the choir loft. We're as good if not better at preaching to the masses then men are. I think this needs to be reworked, as it's sexist and backward thinking. But that's just me - child of a *gasp* married minister team that includes a *gasp* woman!
Well as a matter of fact this career is totally and completely true to life seeing as it is nothing short of illegal in the Catholic Church for a woman to be a priest. It's not sexist, it's not anything else negative, just the way it is. So shut your mouth and leave your opinions to yourself! Jesus Christ those kind of people drive me insane!

Thanks for the Church of England version. It's ideal for my parish priest. If you ever come back to MTS Hellsfury_25m, the teen version you mentioned would be much appreciated!
