TickleOnTheTum, yes, they are bump mapped; look carefully at the communicator and you'll see that it's "bumpy." The shoulders are, too, but it's less obvious.

nixnivis, dear, I'm so glad to have your uniforms for a contest named Star Trek: Intrepid over at InSim.

As much as I love your work, however, I noticed a little weirdness on the hands of a female sim when she's wearing a uniform. Here are two screenshots:

I'm using a lot of skintones and this happens with every skin, could it be that the mesh file has anything to do with it?

It doesn't occur with other clothing - pictured is a H&M Fashion Stuff mesh:

Glad to hear you like my skins!

This would be the UV map problem mentioned in the ETA from Aug 13: I've fixed the UV map so that the hand textures on the female skins looks like they're supposed to. ... If you you've noticed the hand textures looking a bit funny and it bugs you, then please redownload the mesh and skins for females. So, just get the new versions (only for females) and you should be fine. Sorry about the inconvenience!

eoris, have you unzipped them? Just placing the .zip files in the Downloads folder won't work, you need to unzip them as well.

If you need help with that, or with something else regarding how to install custom content, there's an easy-to-follow guide here.
