Those are so cute and I've downloaded them too. It works for my game, but when I left the babies in them too long I think they might've fell asleep, cause they were laying down in the swing. I tried to take them out but my sim would just stand there looking down at the baby in the swing and wouldn't take it out no matter how many times I tried commanding it to. Lol, it was kind of funny but yeah, they were stuck for good so I had to restart my game from my last saved spot.

You could type ctrl shift c then type the following in the little box the come up at the top of your screen:
boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true (click the enter key)

then click on the object holding down the shift key and it will give you a force error option the baby will eject from the swing.

I did have this happen to me once since I installed BV. I think from what it appears to me BV has new idle codes and these codes are causing problems some items. I am studying them and trying to see if there is a way for me to work around them.

When my SIM takes the baby out, She holds the baby behind her back until she flips him to the front for what she has to do next. I love the swing, I don't mind. It's a litle strange but it still works

Y E A H !!!

Hopefully the swing helps with the infant's comfort, cuz I notice that their comfort level is always terrible. I'm a huge cheater and I'll try anything...! That's what makes this game so much fun. :-)

I don't think I did add comfort but when I update my animated version I will try to remember to add comfort to it.

Default Infant Swing Report: 1 Good? 1 Not So Good.
Absolute genius for this baby swing! I love it.

I've tried it out in the game (I have all EPs including BV and all stuff paks except the Teen Stuff...) and I have two issues (good and bad) to report.

The good part, which I assume may be unintentional, is that when an infant is in the swing, and their bladder goes all the way down, their hygiene doesn't drop until they're taken out of the swing. I watched my baby for quite some time and he just continued to look around at other sims, blink his eyes and just be plain happy. I hope you never fix that cuz it's real nice.

The bad part, is that when mama Sim went to take her infant out of the swing, he disappeared. Well, I finally found him, with his butt "glued" to the backside of the swing. Mama Sim simply kept walking away from the swing, even with "Hold Baby" still available in the menu. So I had to reset the infant to get him back to where mama could get him.

Butt glue or no butt glue - This awesome baby swing still goes in all of my households. I love it! Thanks!

OMG this is so funny but strange. Does the animated version do this for you too? My Sims usually hold the infant on their back until they put them on the floor. There isn't any actual infant animations that I can use I have to use toddler animations, so there is some over compensation for the body placement. It's only for a short time then they go back to normal. It isn't good to have them stuck on the back though. I'm really not sure why this happened for you. I don't have the new teen stuff pack installed yet but I have all the other ep and stuff packs.

Be sure you enable custom content and that the files are in a directory named downloads under your C:\Documents and Settings\Your Computer Name\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2. You also have to unzip the files. The file extension has to be the .package.

thank you

What about the thousands of wonderful men and women who are fighting this war without any of the credit or the glory that always goes to those lucky few who just happen to get shot?

Hiya

I downloded this last night and I was able to get my infants and toddlers to sit in it but then they kind of fell over and couldn't be selected unless I used the move_objects on cheat to be able to get them out! Just wondered if thats happend to anyone else? Otherwise absolutly love your crations and keep em comming!!

[QUOTE=Ravynlee]OMG how come this isnt featured or something? Even without the swinging animations its a treasure to have something so adorable for the sim babies to use - as they seem limitted to little else but the floor or cribs anyway! This is wonderful! Thanks so much! I cant wait to test it out - and even if it's never animated am certain it will be a must have in almost all of my sim households! Thanks again![/QUOTE
