Very cute! However, I did a search for Basques...as I thought they were a group of people not lingerie. What I found only confused me more! I know the difference between a camisole and a corset, but for the life of me I can't find the difference between a basque and a corset. All the pictures Google gave me look like corsets! So, what is the difference?

Well it's all very confusing but basically, all corsets have to have lacing to make them corsets. A basque can have lacing but doesn't have to and is generally longer than a corset. Also it's not as tight or figure-molding.
