I just wanted to post a quick thanks for this set of face templates-- and for your other set. Between the two of them, I've got ten of your faces in my game, and I only have templates by five people!

Hello there! I really like the skins, but I'm having trouble getting them to show up in-game. I'm sorry to bother you, but I was hoping you could help me. I've unzipped them into a subfolder of my Downloads folder, and when that didn't show up, I tried just in the downloads folder. I've heard you can put it in your "savedsims" folder, but I don't even seem to have one. I'm assuming they show up in CAS on the 2nd screen, right? Sorry for bothering you, and thanks for any help you can give me.

Using these for an alien neighborhood - the pointy ears make them more alien, you know? Haha in reality I'm just too lazy to make my own and have always loved these, so yay excuse to use them!

Yay, better-looking sims! You're a pearl.

Firstly, to make sure we're on the same page, this download doesn't include the skintones, only the facial structures. ^_^ To get to your actual question, the faces will show up not under the second tab, but actually under the (Hair and Face) tab in CAS. These aren't downloaded sims (which would be under the second tab), these are actually a change to the game's files which make it use different archetypes to generate random sims with.

Sometimes when using new templates for the first time, you'll find that the thumbnails in BodyShop/CAS won't change, however this doesn't always mean the faces aren't your proper templates. Try clicking on them to see if the new template shows up, or if it's a default Maxis face.

How can you tell if they're actually showing up? I don't know the difference between the original and the new ones.
