Thanks a lot but, how does it make pets palyable? Can you like control them. I'm using this mostly for walkbys but playable pets would rock!

Playable pets are controlled by two "cheat" codes; I have them in my userStartup.cheat file, and they work fine there:

alias petActionCancel "boolProp petActionCancel" "[true/false] Enable/Disable canceling pet actions"
ControlPets true # Default: false
petActionCancel true # Default: false
Web browsers typically ruin spacing, but the above will work regardless of the ruined spacing. Just remember that there are four lines: Two that begin with "alias" and two that invoke the aliases by name.

Thanks this is great! (really love all your hacks/fixes!) Love the idea of more and different strays. My Sims already leave out food and toys for all the strays!

Just wondering if there is any way to set the maximum number of adult pets in addition to the elder & puppy/kitten settings? Even with 0 elders & the maximum number of pets equal to the maximum number of puppies/kittens, I am doing *good* if I can get 50% of the new pets to be puppies/kittens.

I realize this is (obviously) how it *should* work (50/50 chance) but would really love to be able to tweak things to allow for more puppies/kittens & less adults. (I like the *surprise* element you get with puppies & kittens!)

not sure why i'm getting this problem. my sim is on a college lot and has serveral rescued puppies and kittens but they won't age. i have pets. night life, university.
is this because i'm in a college lot or is it a bug?

Something like this mod but for kids, the walkby I mean, would be perfect, especially for business and parks

College lots don't have an age controller. So yeah, the pets wouldn't age on College. Lamare has the fix for that. Age each amount of days.
