I thought that was pretty odd myself. I noticed that a few of the adult hairstyles were animated while the teen ones were not. Is there a way to fix that as well? Thank you so much for this

Thank you so much! It's so nice to have someone catch these things and fix them.

I also noticed some of them aren't animated. I think you need to edit the mesh in order to fix that. But i'm not that talented in animating hair meshes.

Hmm, I believe that easiest way would require converting the adult mesh to teen and default replacing it so that the hair style will be animated once again. I haven't gotten to fully play the game and explore the SP, but this fix does get the job done. I believe it would just be a matter of sizing up the adult hairs and all. Other than that I would have no clue.

By the way, thank you for this fix, Atreya!

Actually the best way to fix the animation would be to extract the teen mesh and animate it. Converting the adult mesh to teen would be more difficult.

I have tried putting the hair fix without the hat in all 3 locations where you said, but, it doesn't work. I wonder what I'm doing wrong?

That's strange. For me it works from these locations.
Maybe you can try
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden stuff\TSData\Res\Catalog\Skins
If that doesn't help, you can always put it in the downloadsfolder.

I've tried over and over all 3 locations and I gave up - I can't understand why it's not working in the first location. I put the fix in the downloads. It's ok that I have to put it in there. I know not to delete the hair since it came with Mansion and Garden Stuff.

There is one last thing you can test. You can put a z in front of the filename to make sure the fix is loaded after the original files.

I'll try that now and see if it works. I'll post a reply to say if it did or not. Hope it works.

Edit: I put a z in front of the file name and it worked. Thanks for your help. I didn't think of doing that.

Thanks this is awesome, I love the new hairs especially the Braided one. I've only played a little bit since getting the EP/SP and I didn't notice this problem yet. But now I won't have to deal with it anymore thanks to you ((Hugs))

Thank you! I only recently noticed this issue, and while I could live with it, why would I when you fixed it
