Thanks! I always hated it when my Nature sims came to the Peerless Park and rolled the want "watch fish". But then to fulfill that, I had to actually *buy* the fish!

Nice and useful addition, thank you
(and hope you will develop also the fish-on-head thing, which is interesting as well, I read the specific thread with those funny pics )

Thank you for this fix. It's one of the little annoyances that really bugged me.

You must be reading my mind, because I thought about wanting a hack like this just yesterday while playing the game. Thank you!

Brilliant! I'd not noticed this since shaders don't work in my game so I can't see fish when a tank is stocked anyway. I'm downloading now for when I get a machine that actually can use shaders.

Is there any chance of doing something similar with fireplaces on comm lots so that I don't have to get my Sims to light them all when arriving on a lot for a date?

Forgot to say this but you may need to use "boolProp useShaders true" in order for fish to show up. My machine doesn't display them until I use the cheat.

That's sounds interesting. I'll think about it.

'boolProp useShaders true' isn't always that useful. While on my machine it does make fish show up, it also makes my swimming pool walls flash blue and yellow.

Now THAT makes sense... I really hated to have visiting Sims stock the aquarium just because they want to look at fish...

Another weird, glitchy behavior spued out by Maxis-laziness fixed by a nice modder. Thanks!

I noticed that on the hobby lots the fish aren't created. Is something you can fix? I know it's because the secret lots of categorized differently than normal community lots and I wasn't sure if it's doable.

I find that in very rare instances, there is a chance that the fish can disappear out of the tank. Usually, they're back by the next visit, and again, this very rarely happens. Most of the time (at least 95% ... probably more), they're there and they stay there. And it's so nice to see them there, too! It's annoying that a Sim has to pay to see the fish on a community lot. (I downloaded the non-owned version.) Next is fixing the custom tanks.

Wherever you are, thank you!
