This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.

A friend of mine requested that I recolour dustfinger's conversion of the H&M suit for elder men. As I really enjoyed doing the adult male version (here and here) and because let's face it... elder men are probably THE most neglected Sims, fashion-wise... it just seemed like something that I think Simmers can get some major use out of. And don't our grandpas deserve to look stylish at formal events without resorting to tweed and bow-ties and other boring stuff?

Included in the .rar are 6 recolours, all clearly named if you want to remove any. The mesh is not included and must be downloaded at dustfinger's post, which I have linked above.

These are categorised as formal only. I'm not going to make them everyday or anything else, so if you want them re-categorised, I suggest the Wardrobe Wrangler.

Thanks and comments appreciated.

Enjoy!

These are great. I would love to see these colours for adults males too, since elders get less play. It's great to have options for them, though. ^_^ Thank you!

I actually think most of them are same-ish to the two sets for adults that I have already recoloured. I linked to them in my post and in the 'related pages' tab.

They're similar, but not the same. I use your other set of suit recolours ALL the time, so the more the merrier. ^_^ Thank you for making them!

You're right! I (or anyone) could make hundreds of recolours of this suit. But the line has to be drawn somewhere, right?

Now, if it was converted for teens on the other hand... *hint hint hint talented converters*.......

"tweed and bow-ties and other boring stuff" Hey, Matt Smith as the Doctor totally made them cool. ^_^ I wear a bow tie--and I'm a 21 year old chick! Bow ties are cool...

These are fabtastic. Some swanky elder males coming right up!

Requests? Yes! See my journal entry for palette options! (Shameless plugging of my Sim site)

I can see my Don Lothario wearing one of these as formal wear when he becomes an elder. Thanks! I love Maxis-Match stuff.
